The Pardubice Retail Fund has completed the largest Czech real estate deal so far this year involving a single building worth over €100 million. The value of the acquisition of the retail landmark in Pardubice has reached almost €124 million, Seznam.cz reports.

The first commercial park in northern Bulgaria is being built in Ruse next to the sports hall OZK Arena. There is around nine mоnthѕ left until the opening and some оf thе tеnаntѕ аrе аlrеаdу knоwn, lосаl mеdіа rероrts.

Bulgarian retail group Videolux Holding has opened a retail park in the city of Pernik following an investment of some €20.45 million, the company announced in a press release,

The total stock of modern retail spaces in Romania reached 4.11 million sqm in the first quarter of 2023 following the delivery of two new retail parks with a combined leasable area of 22,000, according to a report by CBRE. 

UDI Group is adding another project to its portfolio. It will build a suburban retail centre in the village of Líbeznice north of Prague. According to the developer, a similar centre with a supermarket and several smaller retail units at one address with quality parking facilities is still missing in this village of 3,000 inhabitants. UDI Group estimates the investment at CZK 100 million (€4.2 million).

Hungarian real estate developer and investor Indotek Group has acquired two shopping centres, one located in Valencia and the other in Barcelona, from Socimi Merlin Properties. The amount of the transaction has not been disclosed, Forbes reports.

Tailor-made leases are essential in both the office and retail segments in Hungary too. Property Forum asked Mátyás Gereben, Country Manager of CPI Hungary about the relevant plans of the leading landlord and developer. 

Situated in the southwestern city of Sandanski, Kaufland’s first Bulgarian retail park spans over 5,000 sqm. The German retail chain invested over BGN 2 million  ( €1 million) in the outdoor retail area, the company said in a press release.

Square 7 Properties and Belgian investment fund Mitiska REIM will open this week Giurgiu Shopping Park, which has a leasable area of 7,000 sqm. The general contractor of the project was Austrian construction firm Strabag. 

Czech group of real estate funds ZDR Investments has strengthened its position in the Slovak market. The company has acquired a retail park in Topoľčany for its Public fund. The acquisition expanded the Group’s portfolio to 64 properties with a total value of more than €516 million, ZDR announced.
