Modern mixed-use complexes, open to social interactions and meeting local needs, which today are winning over traditional office buildings, set the direction for the development of investments in the commercial sector 

In Q1 2021, home prices in Slovakia increased by only 2% compared to Q1 2020. The prices of new dwellings increased by 2.6% and prices of used dwellings rose by 1.5%, the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic announced.

Romania’s Impact Developer & Contractor says it secured a loan worth €10.6 million from CEC Bank that will used for the completion of the first phase of Boreal Plus residential complex in Constanța.

BPI Real Estate Poland has acquired a plot of land in the center of Wrocław for another project to be built in the capital of Lower Silesia. After Poznań, Warsaw and the Tri-City, this is the fourth location in Poland where the Belgian developer has recently purchased land with the intention to execute new construction projects. The acquisition of plots for new projects with a total gross surface area of 200,000 square meters is strictly related to the pursuit of BPI Real Estate Poland’s future development plans.

During this time, the Group generated €5.46 million (PLN 24.5 million) of net profit.

Romania’s Impact Developer & Contractor will deliver this August the 18 villas part of Boreal Plus complex and is continuing the construction of the first 209 apartments in the Constanța-based project. 

Romania’s Akcent Development Group, specialized in the development of residential and office projects in Bucharest, recorded a turnover of €48 million in 2020.

The Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) has provided a loan worth €10 million to Garanti BBVA Consumer Finance. The funding will support residential investments in energy improvements and resource efficiency. 

Czech real estate developer and investor Crestyl, together with investment management firm Cornerstone Partners, completed the acquisition of Polish residential developer Budimex Nieruchomości. Budimex Nieruchomości was a subsidiary of Poland's largest construction group, Budimex SA, owned by the Spanish infrastructure giant Ferrovial.

Romania’s City Garden says it will deliver the first phase of its luxury villas complex this year and will complete the whole project in 2022. The company is investing around €16 million in 66 villas located in northern Bucharest.
