MDC2 and its partner Generali Real Estate have concluded a lease agreement for an 11,000 sqm building with InPost at MDC2 Park Kraków South. This will be a BTS (built to suit), customised building located on a plot of land prepared exclusively for InPost.

Over the last two and a half decades, a lot has changed in the Hungarian real estate market. Spectacular investments have shaped the image of the capital, while the modern real estate market as we know it today has gradually emerged. The biggest players were already present in the late 90s, including WING, which is 25 years old this year. During this time, the group has undergone dynamic changes, reflected not only in its developments in Budapest but also in its presence on international markets. Amazon has extended its lease for over 36,200 sqm of warehouse space and 2,000 sqm of office space at the Hillwood Łódź Górna logistics centre.

GLP has begun construction of its second logistics centre of 57,000 sqm in Gliwice, in southern Poland, following the signing of a new lease agreement with a leading logistics company.

He will be responsible for taking the role of the CEO of the Polish subsidiary and head of the company’s expansion into the Polish market.

NEPI Rockcastle has acquired the 100,000 sqm Magnolia Park shopping centre in Wroclaw, Poland, from Union Investment in an off-market transaction. The sale price amounts to €373 million. Union Investment acquired Magnolia Park in 2017 for the portfolio of the open-ended real estate fund UniImmo: Europa. 

CTP has started the construction of its new 46,600 sqm industrial and logistics park in Toruń, Poland. On a plot of more than 14 hectares, adjacent to key traffic arteries, the developer will build two facilities with a total area of more than 46,600 sqm. CTPark Toruń will be an urban warehouse with flexible lease modules for small businesses - known as CTBox and CTFlex. The first phase of the development is scheduled for completion in the last quarter of 2025.

Santander Bank Polska, one of the largest financial groups and the largest bank with private capital in Poland, has become an anchor tenant of The Bridge, which is being built in the business center of Warsaw. The bank has signed a lease agreement with the developer and investor of the building – Ghelamco – for an area of approximately 24,500 sqm (nearly 21,000 sqm of usable area). This is the largest transaction on the Polish office market since 2022.
