7R, a Polish developer specialising in providing warehouse and industrial space, has published its first ESG report, setting sustainable development goals until 2025. The company's priority is to strive for climate neutrality and to support customers in this regard. 7R declares that ESG is the foundation of its operations and is part of a long-term strategy of increasing the value of the company itself and its products, which benefits tenants, investors, local communities and employees.

Cushman & Wakefield continues its partnership with GTC to provide community building services for the company’s office buildings. By coordinating its activities as part of its proprietary “WakeApp Your Office” scheme, Cushman & Wakefield is responding to the challenges experienced by office tenants and landlords in encouraging employees to return to the office post-pandemic.

Panattoni has leased out over 15,100 sqm to Chines e-commerce giant, JD International Logistics in its newly completed Panattoni Park Nadarzyn. The developer has also completed the process of the building’s certification in the BREAAM International New Construction system at the level “Excellent”. With a score of 78.4 percentage points the building has become the most ecological construction in Poland. The lease to JD.com was mediated by consultancy M4 Real Estate.

Kajima Properties has completed the development of one of Gdansk’s first built-to-rent schemes. A joint venture with local investor Tonsa and Olivia Business Centre, it marks Kajima’s first built-to-rent project in Poland and delivers a range of units from studios to three-bedroom family apartments. The building has been incorporated within the new @Home operational platform and has quick access to central Gdańsk, Olivia Business Centre and the rest of the Tri City area. The 3,185 sqm building has been fully let.

PRS (private rented sector) investments, which have been popular in Western Europe for years, are increasingly developing in Poland. In 2021, residential rental investments accounted for €0.6 billion of the capital invested in the country. In response to the needs of this rapidly growing sector, Colliers, as one of the first companies in the market, launched its PRS investment management and commercialization service. The first project of this kind in Colliers’ property management portfolio is one of the newest investments of Atrium European Real Estate in Kraków's Krowodrza district.

Green certificates are becoming the norm in CEE but words like 'excellent' or 'platinum' don't always provide enough information about a building's overall environmental impact. Developers, architects and advisors were discussing the real cases of ESG principles` implementation during a panel at the European ESG Property Forum conference in Warsaw, moderated by Oana Stamatin, ESG Chief Officer at Colliers.

Vantage Data Centers, a global provider of hyperscale data centre campuses, announced that two greenfield campuses in Berlin and Warsaw are now operational. The opening of a Warsaw campus marks the company’s first facility in Poland, while the development in Berlin marks the company’s second campus in Germany. Among Vantage’s portfolio of nine campuses in EMEA, five of them are now operational (Berlin I, Warsaw, Frankfurt I, Zurich and Cardiff).

Invesco Real Estate has sold Panattoni Park Gdańsk Airport, a logistics park situated in the vicinity of the Gdańsk international airport, to EQT Exeter. The complex, part of which is still under construction, comprises five buildings and has a total leasable area of app. 110,000 sqm. The value of the transaction has not been disclosed. 

International company TKH Group N.V., represented by its newly established company EEP LCC, has purchased an investment site of approximately eight hectares in Sieraków in the Rawicz municipality. In the formal preparation for obtaining the land for sale, support during negotiations and in the process of purchasing the land was provided by specialists from JLL’s industrial department in cooperation with the Rawicz Office for Investor Assistance.

As of 1 June 1 2022, the Board of Directors of NEPI Rockcastle has decided to permanently appoint Rüdiger Dany as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Eliza Predoiu as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
