Inter Cars Group enters Panattoni Park Sosnowiec I. The automotive supplier operating in the CEE region leased over 20,000 sqm.

MidPoint71, an office building in Wrocław, was acquired by Trigea Real Estate Fund, the fastest-growing Czech fund. The project of Echo Investment, which obtained the occupancy permit earlier this year, was sold for over €100 million. In another deal, three office buildings in Fuzja Łódź project were acquired by KGAL Group, an independent investment and asset manager, for over €56 million.

Marcin Michalec, CEO of OKAM Capital talked to Property Forum about the current situation in the residential market in Poland, plans of a large mixed-use investment in Warsaw and shared his forecasts for the PRS sector.

Propco, a developer focused on small warehouse facilities, has finalised a property development deal for DPD Polska Sp. z o.o. The BTS facility will be built in Boleslawiec, and will provide a total of 2,500 sqm of cross-dock space. It is the first project carried out for DPD Polska as part of a development programme of regional small-format last-mile logistics facilities. Construction of the facility has already begun, while the space is scheduled to be handed over to the tenant for use at the turn of 2022/2023.

GTV, an international distributor of furniture accessories and LED lighting, has signed a lease for another 32,000 sqm of space at MLP Pruszków II. The company is already occupying 20,300 sqm at the logistics centre. The new building is to be handed over to the tenant next April. The transaction was brokered through AXI IMMO, a real estate advisory firm.

Investors and clients in Poland are focusing on local shopping centres, says advisory firm Walter Herz. 

Solida Capital and Xior have formed a joint venture in Poland to jointly develop student housing projects. The first investment will be a student dormitory located in the Old Town area of the capital, close to the University of Warsaw campus.

Warehouse developer LCube has started preparations for the implementation of his next investment. In Mszczonów, on a plot of approx. 8 ha, a facility of approx. 35,000 sqm is to be built.

Industrial parks built five or ten years ago are as good as new facilities in many respects. Constructed in prime suburban and well-connected locations, they continue to be upgraded. Most importantly, however, they offer ready-to-occupy and relatively competitively-priced warehouse space, says Michał Kozar, Associate, Industrial and Warehouse Department, Newmark Polska.

Bank Pekao S.A. completed the €10 million refinancing project of a retail park portfolio owned by Newbridge Poland. The investor was advised in this process by the Avison Young investment team.
