157 studios from 33 countries in Europe, America and Asia have applied to the competition for the revitalisation of a brownfield and the construction of new city blocks in Prague's Florenc. An international jury led by renowned German architect Stefan Behnisch has selected the advancing teams of four concurrent architectural competitions. 

On the right bank of the Danube, new neighbourhood developments have been underway for several years. JTRE is preparing the Nové Lido and Penta Real Estate the Southbank project. For their plans to become a reality,  the city councillors need to give the green light to change the city's master plan and swap city land. As dennikN.sk reports, both proposals have eventually received support.

On February 20, the City Council in Bratislava is going to vote on important amendments to the city master plan, related to the construction of the Nové Lido by JTRE and Southbank by Penta Real Estate projects, reports DennikE.sk.

The revitalisation of the surroundings of Masaryk station by Penta Real Estate is moving to the next stage. The focus of action is now directed to the south side, to Hybernská Street. 

Penta Real Estate has announced a change in the management of the Slovak part of the company. The current Country Managing Director Juraj Nevolník is leaving the company for personal reasons. He is going to be replaced by Michal Rehák, currently working in the Business Director position. 

Penta Real Estate and Komerční Banka have agreed on financing the construction of the residential project Mocca Residence. The credit is corresponding to the costs to be invested in the project by Penta. 

Penta Real Estate and the XPlace platform owned by the Archdiocese of Prague, have decided to continue their cooperation in developing rental housing. XPlace has agreed to acquire two apartment buildings with 62 residential units in the Nová Waltrovka in Prague 5. 

Penta Real Estate is planning to continue its development activities in Prague 6, in the Veleslavín area. For this purpose the developer is establishing a joint venture with Radek Pokorný and his new development group Engine Prague Development. 

Penta Real Estate has presented the current version of the Medze residential project in Bratislava's Dúbravka. At the same time, it has submitted documents for the environmental impact assessment (EIA) for the next stage of the project to the relevant authorities this week.
