Penta Real Estate has announced a change in the management of the Slovak part of the company. The current Country Managing Director Juraj Nevolník is leaving the company for personal reasons. He is going to be replaced by Michal Rehák, currently working in the Business Director position.

Michal joined Penta after graduating from university in 2011. Within the real estate division, he mainly worked on commercial real estate. Since 2018, his responsibilities have also been extended to the residential part of real estate projects. Michal continues to expand the development in the Bory district and is also responsible for the entire residential portfolio of Penta Real Estate in Slovakia.

"I appreciate the trust of Penta management. I have had the honour of working with Juraj Nevolník for 13 years. We now have thousands of apartments and office spaces in preparation as part of new projects in Bratislava. That is also why I am looking forward to this new stage and I believe that together with Penta Real Estate we will continue to progress on the Slovak market and advance the level and quality of real estate development", said Michal Rehák.

"I am saddened by Juraj's departure because I consider him to be a very successful, inspiring and hard-working colleague who represented a very strong story inside Penta, as well. He joined the company as a trainee and worked his way up to the highest managerial position. I thank Juraj for the excellent cooperation and I am glad that for the moment he remains in Penta, at least in the position of an investor in our Penta Fund. Michal Rehák is an experienced professional who has been part of the top management of our development in Slovakia for more than 6 years, both in the commercial and residential segments," said Marek Dospiva, Penta's co-founder responsible for the real estate development segment.

The carbon cost is already in your building. You just can't see it yet

by Property Forum
A structural shift is rewriting the financial logic of European commercial real estate. It isn't being driven by ESG pressure or voluntary sustainability labels. It's being driven by regulation — and the numbers are concrete enough that ignoring them is becoming a financial risk. A recent white paper by workcloud24 traces the mechanism in detail: how the operational energy and CO₂ performance of a building transmits into net operating income, asset value, and financing conditions. The argument isn't that green buildings are virtuous. It's that inefficient buildings are becoming measurably more expensive to own, operate, and finance.
