In H1 2018, gross take-up on the office markets of Brno and Ostrava reached 45,600 sqm and 18,900 sqm, respectively, representing a significant yearly increase in both cities.The Regional Research Forum announced the Brno and Ostrava office market figures for H1 2018.

Owners Meyer Bergman and Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan have put Ostrava’s Forum Nová Karolina shopping centre on sale, Hospodářské noviny reports.

TK Development has received the construction permit for building Outlet Arena Moravia. Prague-based Star Capital Investments has become the new owner of the Futurum Ostrava and OC Haná shopping centres in the Czech Republic. CBRE participated in these transactions, representing the foreign sellers. CBRE also manages the building and leasing activities for Futurum Ostrava.

On behalf of its clients, CBRE Global Investors has bought Prologis Park Ostrava from Prologis for an undisclosed sum. The 65,910 sqm complex, comprising two buildings, on the D1 motorway has now been renamed Ostrava Logistics Park. It is fully leased to five tenants.

Colliers International has announced the completion of its advisory role in helping Chassix, a global automotive supplier of precision casting and machining solutions, to establish a greenfield plant in the metropolis of the Moravian-Silesian region of the Czech Republic. 

CTP is nearing completion of phase I of a new 25,000 sqm production facility which is being constructed for a new client, UK-based Stow, one of the leading suppliers of added-value warehouse racking and storage systems. The company's core activity is the development and manufacturing of racking systems for the storage of palletised or small goods and longer items, as well as mezzanine structures. 

Emerging Europe Properties Fund and Discovery Group have sold Nakupní Park Centro Ostrava to Focus Estate Fund. The subject of the sale is a fully leased retail park in Ostrava. Operating since 2011, it offers 7,700 sqm of retail space. Long-term tenants include Mountfield, JYSK, Okay Electric, Breno, Jitona, Kasa, Super Zoo, and Rossmann.
