The mixed-use Residence Stodolní by developer Linkcity is replacing a complex of dilapidated buildings in the existing central development right next to the Plato modern art gallery in Ostrava. The whole area is transforming thanks to a new pedestrian zone with greenery as a joint investment of the city and the developer.

Ostrava is dynamically changing for the better, partly through civic initiatives but mainly thanks to key development investments with the support of the city. One of the basic conditions for the revival of the city centre is also an increase in the number of residents. Currently, a private investor is planning construction on a brownfield at the intersection of Stodolní, Porážková and Masná streets. The city selected the location as its development area and put out a tender for the land. The winning project was Rezidence Stodolní from the development company Linkcity.

CTP has signed a lease agreement with Heimstaden, the provider of rental housing in the Czech Republic, for almost 3,500 sqm of office space at IQ Ostrava. 

The S3 hall in P3 Ostrava Central has been leased to retailer Bezvapostele.cz. The company is planning to operate a sales warehouse in the building from August 2024.

The Regional Research Forum has presented Brno and Ostrava office market data for H2 2023. Renegotiations are the main driver, however headline rents are staying unchanged.

CTP has leased approximately 40,000 sqm at CTPark Ostrava Hrušov in the Czech Republic to Vitesco Technologies. The company has operated a high-tech R&D centre nearby at CTPark Ostrava for the past 10 years.

A record number of new brands entered the Czech retail market last year. In the past ten years, since Cushman & Wakefield has been closely monitoring this activity, none equalled the 2023 list of 39 new retail brands.

Logistics developer CTP has built a new coworking centre named "Clubco' in the IQ Ostrava complex on Náměstí Republiky where the company Tietoevry was previously located. The premises are suitable for small and medium-sized companies, as well as corporations or freelancers. Up to 130 people can work together in 1,512 sqm of office space.

The Ostrava-based construction company HSF System has formed a holding structure that includes a total of 26 companies. The new holding company, with sales exceeding CZK 3 billion (€122.2 million), is called Purposia Group. The main reasons for establishing the holding company are to increase efficiency and further expansion plans, HSF System announced. 

A new city area CTZone is under construction in Ostrava, which will be the centre of business opportunities and residential housing. Behind the ambitious project is CTP, which is simultaneously developing several other activities in the Ostrava region.
