Savills has advised AT Capital Group on the acquisition of the development plot at the junction of Grzybowska and Żelazna streets in Warsaw for the planned 140-metre-high Liberty Tower.

Asset management firm Diófa and the Hungarian branch of Erste Bank have concluded a financing deal for seven years. The refinancing contract is worth €73 million, portfolio.hu reports.

Romanian industrial developer Global Vision has purchased the Nova Building office project in northern Bucharest, with the overall investment in the building set to exceed €12 million.  

FLE SICAV FIS, managed by FLE GmbH, has acquired from DWS its fifth office property in Poland – the Kopernik Office Buildings in Warsaw. Knight Frank advised the buyer and Colliers represented the seller. The price remains confidential.

The historic building will offer 4,600 sqm of office and 340 sqm of retail space in the very heart of the Hungarian capital. The opening is expected at the end of January.

Vastint has received a permit for the renovation with change of function of the first three historical buildings in the Stara Rzeźnia complex in Poznań in Poland. As part of the work, they will be restored and transformed into office buildings. The plan to revitalize the rest of Stara Rzeźnia is currently the subject of public consultations organized by the City of Poznań authorities as part of the procedure for adopting a local plan.

Commercial property investment in Romania totaled €1.25 billion in 2022, up 40% compared to the previous years, of which the biggest single deal was Pavăl Holding’s acquisition of CA Immo’s office portfolio for €600 million, according to real estate consultancy JLL România. Last year's result was the biggest since 2008.

Property developer and investor Globalworth has secured new funding worth €160 million from Austrian Erste Group. 

The commercial real estate investment market in the Czech Republic is stagnating. Analysts see the year 2023 as a challenging year. However, the market was dominated by domestic capital last year and there is still a mismatch in the expectations of buyers and sellers, according to a Knight Frank report.
