Prologis buys more development land near Prague

Prologis has acquired additional development land near its existing logistics park in Ostredek, Czech Republic. Located on the other side of the highway running through the site, the addition of another 7.15 hectares with potential development space of 27,000 sqm will take the total park area to 196,000 sqm. This will allow the park to provide even more development opportunities beyond the 8,880 sqm building DC1 currently under construction.

CTP closes €700 million green bond issue

CTP has closed a €700 million four-year green bond under its €8 billion euro medium-term note (EMTN) programme. Total demand for the issue peaked at circa €1.3 billion, reflecting the solid reputation CTP has built with investors in corporate green bonds in the 15 months since the company entered the capital markets for funding.

P3 makes bond market debut with €1 billion green bond issue

P3 Group announced the issuance of its inaugural senior unsecured RegS dual-tranche green bonds across 4- and 7-year tenors, in an aggregate principal amount of €1 billion. The bonds, which will be traded on the Euro MTF Market and listed on the official list of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange, will bear a fixed coupon of 0.875% for the 4-year tenor, and 1.625% for the 7-year tenor, and are expected to be rated BBB by S&P, in line with the corporate rating.

CTP announces €125 million investment in CTPark Brno Líšeň

CTP has added 69,000 sqm of buildings and development land to its CTPark Brno Líšeň in the Czech Republic through a sale-and-leaseback transaction with Zetor Tractors, the Czech agricultural machinery producer. The acquisition marks a major step in the overall €125 million transformation of the former Zetor brownfield industrial site into a modern new park for light manufacturing, retail, research and inner-city logistics which CTP embarked on in 2019. The transaction sees CTP consolidating its ownership in the Líšeň district, increasing the total land size to 29 hectares. Upon completion, CTPark Brno Líšeň will provide some 150,000 sqm of lettable area with over 2,500 jobs.

LPP to take up 69,000 sqm in Panattoni Park Rzeszów North

Panattoni is to provide 133,000 sqm for LPP, the biggest fashion group in the CEE region. As much as 69,000 sqm of this will be built in Panattoni Park Rzeszów North, the construction of which is to complete at the end of Q3 2022. The new investment will be capable of processing up to 100,000 orders per day and storing more than 7 million assorted items. It will support online sales in markets such as Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia and Ukraine. Panattoni Park Rzeszów North will eventually comprise two buildings with a total area of 83,500 sqm.

CTP builds solar power plants in Hungary

CTP has started the construction of solar power plants across its entire portfolio, with the first phase of 6 buildings to be installed in Biatorbágy and Üllő, both located in the outskirts of Budapest.  The plants, each with a capacity of 500 kW, are scheduled to start operations in the first quarter of 2022, aiming to meet tenants' green energy needs while reducing energy costs. The project will be carried out by local contractors and will be developed by CTP as its own investment, entirely from its own resources.

GLP buys 22 ha plot to extend project near Budapest

GLP has closed an acquisition contract for a 22.3-hectare plot in Szigetszentmiklós, next to its existing Sziget Logistics Centre near Budapest, the larger part of which has already been let to Fiege Group. GLP has simultaneously obtained an occupancy permit for the first building, while two further units are under construction. The two phases of the project will comprise more than 150,000 sqm of prime warehouse space.

MLP Group launches Poland’s largest on-site solar PV project

MLP Group is embarking on a project to build rooftop solar power systems at ten logistic parks making up its Polish property portfolio. The project has been contracted to Quanta Energy. The PV panels will cover an aggregate area of about 120,000 sqm, featuring a total capacity of 5.93 MWp. The project is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2023.

New leases

  • Lagardère Travel Retail has renewed its 2,300 sqm office lease for its HQ at the Bucharest-based Globalworth Campus, in a deal brokered by Cushman & Wakefield Echinox.
  • Jack & Jones has leased 310 sqm for a new store at Promenada Sibiu, owned by NEPI Rockcastle.
  • Palas Campus, Romania's largest office building, is set to host the new regional hub for BCR starting this autumn. The HQ will occupy a surface area of approximately 1,000 sqm and will serve clients from the local county and adjacent regions.

New appointments

  • NEPI Rockcastle has nominated Zelda Roscherr as an Independent Non-Executive Director. Roscherr will stand for election at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in May 2026. André van der Veer, currently an Independent Non-Executive Director, will retire at the conclusion of the AGM and will not seek re-election.
  • Panattoni has promoted Nick Cripps to the position of Head of International Capital Markets for Europe, the UK, the Middle East, and India. Based in London, Cripps is tasked with leading the firm’s global capital markets strategy across 18 diverse markets. He joined Panattoni five years ago as Head of UK Capital Markets.
  • PSN has expanded its acquisitions team with the arrival of Martin Šrytr as Business Development Manager. Most recently, he served as Real Estate Expansion Manager at Twistcafe Group, supporting the company’s EMEA growth. His previous experience includes consulting at Cushman & Wakefield, advisory roles at Prochazka & Partners, and management positions within IWG.
