C. Hartwig Gdynia, a leading Polish freight forwarding company of the global Rhenus Group, has expanded its lease to occupy a total of 16,100 sqm of warehouse and office space in the Pomeranian Logistics Centre. The tenant was represented during lease negotiations by real estate advisory firm Newmark Polska.

C. Hartwig Gdynia S.A. operates in the transport, forwarding and logistics sector in Poland and abroad. It provides comprehensive solutions in sea freight, including bulk and break-bulk loads, road transport, air and multimodal freight, transport of oversized goods and warehousing. Its 380-strong team guarantees seamless order fulfilment.

“C. Hartwig Gdynia decided to stay on in the Pomeranian Logistics Centre as it was happy with its prime location, competitive rental rates, space availability and excellent relations with the landlord. The tenant also took the opportunity to move to a larger unit to further expand its warehousing logistics capabilities. We are delighted that our client turned to us for our expertise once again,” says Jakub Dudkiewicz, Associate, Newmark Polska.

“The new, larger warehouse in Gdansk, coupled with the consistently expanded and well-equipped handling space, marks another milestone in the implementation of our company’s strategy. We are committed to further enhancing the quality of our services for a growing number of clients and shipments,” says Wioleta Sikorska, Logistics Project Director, C. Hartwig Gdynia.

“We would like to thank the whole team of C. Hartwig Gdynia for their trust and professional approach to this transaction. As the company continues to experience strong growth in its cargo handling business, we partnered again to explore the market and find the right space that would meet our client’s requirements,” adds Michał Rafałowicz, Regional Director, Newmark Polska.

The Pomeranian Logistics Centre in Gdańsk is located in the immediate vicinity of the Deepwater Container Terminal and close to the S7 expressway and Tricity’s Ring Road.
