CTP has completed the takeover and delisting offer for Deutsche Industrie REIT-AG (DIR), which provides immediate scale in Europe’s largest economy. Germany now represents about 15% of CTP’s portfolio and becomes its third-largest market by gross asset value after the Czech Republic (42%) and Romania (21%).

U.S. logistics giant GXO lands at CTPark Bor. This large unit in the size of 60,000 sqm will lift the Czech/German border market hotspot hub to full capacity. It will boost the development demand at CTP satellite sites in Aš and Cheb too, the company reports.

Prologis has announced another extension of its logistics park at Szigetszentmiklós, just off Budapest.

Total demand amounted to 237,475 sqm in Q4 2021, indicating a 115% increase over Q4 2020 and making 2021 a record year in terms of total demand, according to the Budapest Research Forum’s latest industrial market snapshot.

Wing has acquired Airport City Logistics Park near Budapest’s Liszt Ferenc International Airport, comprising approx. 44,000 sqm of modern warehouse buildings and 8,000 sqm of office area. Through the transaction concluded with CPI Property Group, Wing further strengthens its position in the Budapest industrial and logistics market. The transaction was carried out at a record low, 5.6% yield. 

P3 has acquired three attractive plots with a total surface area of 32 ha at the end of last year. They are all located within the administrative boundaries of large cities like Łódź, Wrocław, and Bydgoszcz.

Czech investment group RSJ and developer Panattoni have agreed on the construction of a new industrial park outside the city of Hradec Kralové. The 35,000 sqm warehouse will be located at one of the exits of the D11 motorway.

Last year, Biuro Inwestycji Kapitałowych, supervised by Logicenters, signed lease agreements for nearly 15,000 sqm, which accounts for approx. 25% of the offered finished warehouse space. All facilities are almost fully leased. In order to extend the portfolio with new facilities, a new warehouse is currently under construction at BIK Park Wrocław, which will provide 22.5 thousand sqm of modern warehouse space. It is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of this year.

As of Q4 2021, over 1,100,000 sqm of Class A warehouse space was under construction on the Czech market, representing an increase of 23% compared to the previous quarter and ca. 240% increase compared to the same period last year. The Industrial Research Forum announced industrial market figures for Q4 2021.

EQT Exeter has appointed Savills as property manager for its very first investment in the Czech Republic. The portfolio of industrial assets comprises 140,000 sqm and is located close to Ostrava, Logistics Park Nošovice with effect from July 2021 and Ostrava Airport Multimodal Park in Mošnov with effect from December 2021.
