Industrial and logistics developer Logicor has completed the development of another 23,000 sqm in the Bucharest I Logistics Park in Mogoşoaia, in northern Bucharest.

The extended component includes 21,800 sqm of warehouse space as well as 1,200 sqm of offices. More than 70% of the new spaces have been pre-let already. Mediplus, a full-line pharmaceutical wholesaler and existing customer in the Bucharest I Logistics Park, has taken an additional space of around 5,500 sqm to expand the business and accommodate a fully automatized e-commerce distribution system, the first of its kind in the Romanian market. Alka, a snacks manufacturer, expanded on another 5,300 sqm to meet the needs of their growing operations. Rotis Lux, a wheel tyres distributor, leased another 6,000 sqm to consolidate the storage and distribution activities in the new location.

“New developments in prime logistics regions in Romania are already in our pipeline, reflecting the growing demand for modern and sustainable logistics space around the country. We own logistics-zoned land allowing for the incremental development of more than 400,000 sqm of high-quality space,” said Mihai Diaconescu, Director, Asset Management for Logicor Romania.

Currently, the Bucharest I Logistics Park consists of four buildings with a total leasable area of around 150,000 sqm.
