Panattoni will deliver 21,000 sqm to Trivium Packaging, a global manufacturer of metal packaging, as early as 2023. It will be the biggest completed development for a single customer in the developer's Kraków portfolio.

Panattoni is set to exceed a quarter of a million sqm in the Małopolska capital region in the coming months. One of the developer's investments is Panattoni Park Kraków North, which will eventually reach 55,000 sqm. The entire development will be completed in mid-2023. The first building of 30,000 sqm is to be ready at the beginning of the year. Trivium Packaging - a global manufacturer of metal packaging with more than 60 production facilities on five continents - will occupy 21,000 sqm there. The company is relocating its already functioning chemical packaging production to the Małopolska facility. The facility will also carry out varnishing and packaging processes. From Panattoni Park Kraków North, the company will serve the Polish market and numerous European markets.

"The realization for Trivium Packaging is exceptional for both us and the client. We strengthen our position in the Kraków market and confirm the huge potential of the region for international operations. The client, thanks to the vast experience of our team, will receive a facility that is unique, meets stringent requirements, and is technologically advanced to optimize operations and increase volumes. This is Panattoni's first lease in the region exceeding 20,000 sqm, but we can announce that the record will be broken soon", says Michal Samborski, Head of Development at Panattoni.

The complex is being built near the E77 European route. In addition, there are two international airports within a radius of less than 100 km - Kraków-Balice and Katowice International Airport in Pyrzowice. The proximity of the S7 expressway - which will eventually run from Gdańsk almost to the southern border - and national road No. 44, which connects Kraków with Silesia, among other countries, is crucial for Polish operations.

Panattoni Park Kraków North will occupy about 55,000 sqm, with nearly 50,000 sqm already leased. In mid-2023, the developer will deliver the second and final building of the complex. A single tenant will fully occupy it. Demand for space within the park is fueled by its prime location as well as its flexibility to suit the client's industry. The space can be prepared for the potential activities of representatives of dozens of industries, including logistics, automotive, or FMCG. Due to the proper design, the facilities can be adapted for warehousing, manufacturing or food logistics processes.

Shopper Park Plus closes Polish retail park deal

by Property Forum
Shopper Park Plus' successful capital raise covering approximately 50% of the transaction value has enabled the acquisition of a strategic portfolio of eight Auchan hypermarket anchored assets across Poland, with the remaining amount financed through a loan facility signed with Aareal Bank AG last week, marking a significant milestone in the company’s continued expansion within food-anchored retail real estate. The favourable financing terms further enhance the portfolio’s strong cash-flow generating capacity and support SPP’s intention of increasing dividend per share in the future.
