VGP has gradually leased over 49,000 sqm of warehouse space in its VGP Park Olomouc to Hella Autotechnik Nova. The first contract was signed last November. It has now signed another contract with the concern for space that is still under construction. The transaction was announced today by VGP.

The record demand for warehouse space, reported last year, continues. There are no vacant warehouses, despite the fact that the largest amount of logistics space in the history of Polish market is currently under construction.

GARBE Industrial Real Estate Czech Republic has commenced the development of 30,000 sqm at GARBE Park Chomutov. The structure will be built on the plot of a former construction company. GARBE demolished and revitalized the brownfield area and prepared it for the new construction of an industrial hall, which will be finished by the end of this year.

GLP has launched the development of two new warehousing projects in Poland: the third phase of construction at Poznań Airport Logistics Centre and the first building of Warsaw V Logistics Centre.

Property investor Globalworth has purchased a small business units logistics project previously developed by CATTED in Chitila, near Bucharest. Furthermore, the two companies will acquire a land plot of around 45,000 sqm in Ștefănești for a new logistics investment.

Arrow Capital Partners, the specialist investor, developer and manager of real estate in Europe and Asia-Pacific, has acquired the Ożarów Logistics Centre in Poland from CBRE Investment Management for its Strategic Industrial Real Estate (SIRE) joint venture with Cerberus. The price has not been disclosed. Burlington Real Estate acted for Arrow.

Developer Trammell Crow Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the CBRE Group, has appointed Petr Kovařík as Chief Logistics Officer for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. From TCC's Prague office, Petr will oversee the company's business and strategic development in the local market, as well as the selection, acquisition and financing of large-scale logistics projects in the region.  

Three new tenants have leased space in Panattoni Park Toruń II: global logistics operators Dachser and Hellmann Worldwide Logistics Polska as well as a wholesale distributor of FMCG products. The companies will be moving into the complex in Q3 this year. Panattoni has now delivered more than 300,000 sqm in the region.

The leading logistics developer has made a €21 billion offer for a huge chunk of „last mile” properties, Bloomberg reports. None of the parties made comments on the news but Blackstone said earlier that a capital increase worth €21 billion was on the agenda.

Panattoni is once again developing a project for DB Schenker near Poznań. In the second quarter of 2022, the logistics operator will occupy over 20,000 sqm in Panattoni Park Poznań XII, where it will serve its client from the automotive sector. The two companies have worked together in Panattoni Park Poznań VIII in Komorniki. The building will feature reinforced floors, suitable for forklifts that use the inductive loop technology. Panattoni will also deliver numerous green solutions, which should allow the project to obtain the BREEAM certification at the “Excellent” level.
