7R completed the expansion of 7R Park Kielce halls. The current tenant, myBOX Logistics, leased additional space and will thus occupy over 30 800 sqm in the project.

In Q1 2023, the Greater Budapest speculative stock increased by five buildings, totalling 111,330 sqm, while in regional Hungary, four new buildings were handed over, totalling 45,835 sqm. As a result, the vacancy rate has risen sharply from 3.8 to 5.9%, Budapest Research Forum (BRF) reports.

Panattoni sees continuing interest from investors: in the first quarter of the year the company completed transactions in Poland worth a combined total of over €300 million. The developer's activity has spawned the need for a new position - Head of Asset Disposition - which has been filled by Michal Stanisławski.

Industrial properties in the Czech Republic are still very full. The vacancy rate in Prague and its surroundings alone is almost zero for the second year. Rents are also rising, with some locations seeing an increase of almost 100% compared to their original terms, according to the latest report on the Czech industrial property market from companies associated with the Industrial Research Forum.

CTP is contributing to the carbon neutrality of the warehouses of CTPark Prague North with the use of trapezoidal sheets made of XCarb ‘green’ steel, manufactured by Arcelor Mittal. It will be added to the entire roof area of a warehouse designated D8.7B with a total area of 32,000 sqm. This resulted in a saving of 835 tonnes of CO2, the equivalent of 348 people living without a car for 1 year.

Panattoni increasingly invests in post-industrial land. The share of brownfield sites in the developer's overall portfolio is steadily increasing. In countries such as Germany, France and the Czech Republic, they now even make up more than half of all of its projects under development. Altogether, this type of development now accounts for one-third of the total space completed by Panattoni in Europe and they are a perfect fit with the sustainable development strategy followed by the developer.

Belgian logistics developer Weerts Group has teamed up with Hungarian-Belgian partner RaktárAD to build a new industrial facility near the Liszt Ferenc International Airport. The park will offer almost 200,000 sqm of logistics and 37,000 sqm of mezzanine and office space. Weers Logistic Park (WLP) is the group's third project realised in Hungary.

Markets like Poland have recorded rental growth of 20% and the upward trend is visible almost everywhere across P3 Logistic Parks’ European portfolio. During MIPIM, Property Forum sat down with David Marquina, Chief Development Officer of European Development at P3, to talk about the drivers of European logistics markets and to find out what’s next for the developer.

The developer has launched construction work on Panattoni Park Tricity East III, which on completion will comprise 44,300 sqm, of which 33,600 sqm has already been leased.

As part of its large-scale development series, Raben Group has opened its new industrial facility in Dunaharaszti, a rapidly developing logistics destination near Budapest. The total value of the project is approximately €7.5 million.
