A new industrial building has been constructed in CTPark Prague West near Prague, which holds a record 92.1% ‘BREEAM New Construction’ sustainability certification score of ‘Outstanding’, making it the ‘greenest’ industrial building in the Czech Republic. The warehouse, which was built under strict environmental measures, features a range of innovative solutions contributing to energy efficiency, as well as facilities to support local animals, abundant greenery, and a charging station for electric vehicles.

Ukraine’s logistics real estate segment has suffered significant losses and destruction since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. Russia targeted warehouses and about 500 thousand square meters of warehouse space was destroyed during the attack on the capital in the Kyiv region. Iryna Nastych summarised the situation in an article prepared by the Ukrainian Real Estate Club for Property Forum.

Logicor continues expanding in the Czech Republic when it acquired a 100,000 sqm brownfield close to Prague, further strengthening its presence in this crucial market and nearly doubling its footprint.

VGP has concluded a lease contract with Dachser Czech Republic for the lease of new space in VGP Park České Budějovice, situated in the Světlík commercial zone. The hall, with an area of 14,000 sqm will be tailor-made for Dachser, a leading provider of logistic services in Europe. The expected completion date and delivery of premises for use is already in October of this year. The company currently leases another hall in the park, with a total area of 9,424 sqm and with the new building will be expanding its operations at that same location.

CTP Group is aiming to double the size of its pan-European network of business parks to 20 million sqm of leasable space by the end of the decade, over the projected growth of demand across Central and Eastern Europe. 

P3 Logistic Parks has announced the contract renewals and extensions for Logistic E Van Wijk and HOPI Logistics, which are some of the longest-standing tenants in the company’s portfolio. The two companies will occupy around 20,538 sqm of logistics spaces and offices within the park. 

CTP has completed two industrial lettings with 12,000 sqm of space at CTP Park Cerhovice. Two speculatively developed sustainable warehouse spaces have been leased to French global automotive supplier Valeo Vymeniky Tepla s.r.o and leading European logistics operator Raben Logistics Czech s.r.o. CTP plans to develop a further 58,000 sqm in this industrial park by the end of 2024, the company announced.

CTP acquired an industrial complex from Bluehouse Capital earlier this year on a plot of land with a total area of 330,000 sqm in the city district of Ostrava - Hrušov. In addition to the existing first phase of 18,000 sqm, which already has three tenants, the developer plans to build another 76,000 sqm of industrial/logistics space. The warehouse will be built in the revitalized area of the former chemical plants with a total area of 94,000 sqm and will become the largest in the Czech CTP portfolio.

pbb Deutsche Pfandbriefbank has provided a €117 million investment loan facility to a logistics fund managed by GLP Capital Partners (GCP). The fund will utilise the proceeds for the refinancing of the development of a logistics portfolio in Poland and the Czech Republic. pbb acted as arranger and sole lender under the facility.
