VGP enters the Budapest market by purchasing a 38 ha development site at the strategic location of Üllő, adjacent to Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport. The development potential of VGP Park Budapest Aerozone is approx. 125,000 sqm.

Commercial real estate investments in Romania amounted to €570 million in the first nine months, down 29% compared to the same period of 2020, according to JLL Romania. The Bucharest market attracted 70% of the total investment volume, mainly in the office segment. 

Online food sales have been growing at a rapid pace in recent years in the Czech Republic, the revenue in this segment has grown by 106% on average per year during the past three years. Growth rates were strong elsewhere in Europe as well, averaging 37.3%. Cushman & Wakefield has analysed data from 24 European countries.

Walter Herz company has been selected as the exclusive agent responsible for commercialization of warehouse, production and office space in OKAM’s investment located on the site of the former car factory at Jagiellońska Street in Warsaw.

Savills Investment Management has acquired the A2 Warsaw Park logistics centre in Adamów, near Grodzisk Mazowiecki for €112.5 million. The property was purchased from Invesco Real Estate, a global real estate investment manager, on behalf of Savills IM European Logistics Fund 3 (ELF3), which already owns 11 investments across Europe. This is the fund’s largest transaction in Europe and one of Savills IM’s largest investments in the Polish commercial real property market.

Supported by the flourishing online trade and a surge in demand due to last-mile requirements, the growth prospects continue to be very positive, both from an investment and user perspective, according to Catella’s Logistics Market Map Europe 2021.

Felix Stroe is the new Operational Country Manager of VGP Romania starting October 1st. He is an experienced civil engineer with extensive experience in construction management. 

The European distributor and importer of spare parts for passenger cars will join as a tenant at MLP Poznań West, leasing a facility with an increased height of 11.5 metres. The facility, planned to be delivered in the third quarter of 2022, will meet the requirements for BREEAM certification.
