Prime headline rents have increased slightly to a new level of €5.20 sqm/month in the Czech Republic and €5.50 sqm/month in the Greater Prague region during Q3 2021. The Industrial Research Forum published its fresh industrial market figures.

Element Industrial Founder Ionuț Dumitrescu and Sacha Dragic, the Founder of Superbet Group, have launched a new joint venture in the industrial and logistics sector. The development company will be formed through the association of ELI and D Craig Real Estate, the property division of D Craig Holding, controlled by Sacha Dragic. Anca Damour has been named CEO of D Craig Real Estate. 

Pan-European logistics platform Crossbay has purchased 100,000 sqm of warehouse space in two sites in Warsaw and Łódź. Both sites were acquired from Panattoni Europe, a developer of logistics and industrial space, for an undisclosed sum

Belgian WDP, the developer of industrial and logistics projects, says it has ongoing investments of around €102 million in several Romanian cities with deliveries expected by the first quarter of 2022.

Commercial real estate investments in Romania amounted to €570 million in the first nine months, down 29% compared to the same period of 2020, according to JLL Romania. The Bucharest market attracted 70% of the total investment volume, mainly in the office segment. 

Online food sales have been growing at a rapid pace in recent years in the Czech Republic, the revenue in this segment has grown by 106% on average per year during the past three years. Growth rates were strong elsewhere in Europe as well, averaging 37.3%. Cushman & Wakefield has analysed data from 24 European countries.
