CBRE Czech Republic has appointed Jakub Stanislav as Head of Investment Properties. Jakub Stanislav will oversee a team of four senior consultants and will be responsible for developing long-term strategies as well as building and developing client relationships. As part of his mandate, he will coordinate the purchase and sale of a wide range of commercial properties, from offices to logistics complexes and shopping centres to hotels.

The former Ballet Institute has been transformed into the five-star W Budapest hotel offering 151 rooms and suits in the very heart of the Hungarian capital. The new facility is part of the global portfolio of the Marriott Bonvoy brand. 

Bratislava's socialist hotel will be transformed into a multifunctional building with office space and apartments. Its redevelopment is now planned by the developer Imoba fin, writes the Slovak daily Hospodárské noviny. However, further details regarding the price and timetable have not yet been revealed.

Hospitality company IHG Hotels & Resorts has marked the launch of its lifestyle brand in Romania through the singing of the Hotel Indigo Satu Mare. The new hotel will open in 2025 and will join IHG’s network in Romania which includes Intercontinental Athénée Palace Bucharest, Crowne Plaza Bucharest, and Holiday Inn Bucharest-Times. 

Moxy Belgrade has arrived in Serbia’s capital city. The 131-guestroom hotel is located in the city centre, nestled in the corner of Njegoseva Street which sits within one of the oldest cultural neighbourhoods of Belgrade. The property is located just a few minutes walk from Slavija, one of the biggest and most famous city squares.

Hungarian property developer and investor Indotek Group currently owns real estate in Hungary and eight foreign countries and is actively screening opportunities in five others. The portfolio consists of office, retail, hotel and industrial properties. Barceló Hotel Group has opened Barceló Warsaw Powiśle, a 4-star hotel with 151 rooms and suites at the Elektrownia Powiśle complex in Warsaw.

Four Points by Sheraton Budapest Danube Hotel has opened in the Hungarian capital. The new 105-room hotel is situated on the banks of the river in the centre of the city and is managed by the Hungarian company Accent Hotels.

Hungarian property investor and developer Indotek Group has been granted permission from the Croatian authorities to buy the Jelsa Resort, a huge hotel complex on Hvar Island. The complex offers 1,400 rooms but needs to be refurbished, vg.hu reports.
