Bike manufacturer expands its production at CTPark Cheb

JTRE opens shopping centre extension in Slovakia

The first modern regional shopping centre in Prešov, the third biggest city in Slovakia, is opening a second stage on 23 September. JTRE’s expanded EPERIA Shopping Mall will include new fashion brands, restaurants, and a multiplex cinema, with the retail area increasing by 50%.  The shopping centre will provide visitors with a wide range of customer services, more parking spaces, and new indoor and outdoor relaxation zones.

HelloParks proceeds with 45,000 sqm project near Budapest

The first column has been placed of the first 45,000 sqm warehouse in Fót, which is an important milestone in launching one of Hungary’s largest industrial and logistic developments by HelloParks, a member of Futureal Group, after the first tenants started to move into another megapark of the company in Maglód. For this energy-efficient, BREEAM sustainability standard-compliant facility that is developed as a part of a greenfield investment close to the Hungarian capital, the composition of the tenants is already outlined: negotiations are at an advanced stage, mainly with e-commerce, parcel logistics and courier businesses, as well as logistics companies serving a single manufacturing company.

New shopping centre in Budapest opens today

Etele Plaza is going to open its doors to the public at 10 AM on September 17, 2021. Budapest’s latest shopping and entertainment centre located in the immediate vicinity of Etele square, Kelenföld will offer a range of stores and services. Accolade and Panattoni to build robotics centre for Amazon

Panattoni will construct a robotic fulfilment centre for Amazon on a brownfield site, formerly used for a sugar factory settling tanks, near Kojetín in the Přerov region. It will be the first fully-fledged multi-storey logistics building with state-of-the-art technological equipment in the Czech Republic. The zone was developed by the Accolade Group, which is also the investor and owner of the industrial park.

Crestyl starts construction of first Polish project

Following the acquisition of Polish residential developer Budimex Nieruchomości - now renamed Spravia - construction of its first project has begun with its new owner, Czech developer and investor Crestyl. The two phases of the Mińska 69 residential complex in Warsaw will offer nearly four hundred apartments for long-term rent. Based on a previously concluded strategic partnership, they will be bought by Heimstaden Bostad, one of Europe’s leading residential real estate rental companies.

Wing to launch new office development project in Budapest

Wing, one of the largest real estate companies in Hungary, is launching a new office development. HOP Passage will be a part of Hungária Office Park (HOP), the complex at the former Siemens site on Hungária körút. With 32,000 sqm of Class A+ office space, this new building will meet environmental and accessibility rating criteria and will offer customisable offices looking out onto an inner garden to its tenants, with flexible terms. Preparatory work is to start in late 2021, and the new building is expected to be completed at the end of 2023.

Crestyl to add six office buildings to Prague project

Local developer Crestyl plans to build six office buildings as part of the new Prague district Hagibor in the vicinity of Želivského metro station. The construction of the first phase, in which EP Real Estate is also involved, will start this year. Crestyl is also gradually building five residential buildings on the site. The cost of the entire project will exceed €350 million (CZK 9 billion), local daily E15 reports.

New leases

  • 108 Agency Slovakia has secured a lease of 5,300 sqm for RajHračiek in ANTRACIT Park Senec, a built-to-suit project by HSF. RajHračiek is a fast-growing online store offering a wide selection of toy brands for children.
  • Contract Administration as a result of the renegotiation of the lease agreement, remains in the premises of the West Forum complex in Wrocław. The Lessor, represented by TFG Asset Management, was supported in the process by the consulting agency Corees Polska.
  • Uni-logistics, which specializes in sea, rail and air freight forwarding and road transport, has leased 5,825 sqm of warehouse and office space in Panattoni Park Tricity East VI in Poland. Real estate advisory firm Cresa Poland assisted the tenant during negotiations.

New appointments

  • Paweł Suracki joined Colliers as the Investment Services Director. He will be responsible for managing sales and purchasing processes on behalf of Colliers' clients and for establishing and maintaining relationships with potential and current Colliers' partners in Poland.
  • Avison Young has announced a key change to its directors’ team in Budapest with the arrival of Martina Cifer at the helm of its Office Leasing department. In her new capacity, she shall oversee both the company's Landlord and Tenant Representation divisions.
  • Łukasz Czajkowski joins the team of JLL Poland as Business Services Lead in Tenant Representation Department. He will be responsible for enhancing relations with the BSS sector.
