pbb Deutsche Pfandbriefbank has provided a €113 million investment loan facility to CTP, which will be drawn down in phases. CTP will utilise the proceeds for the refinancing of a logistics portfolio in the Czech Republic. pbb acted as arranger and sole lender under the facility.

A new city area CTZone is under construction in Ostrava, which will be the centre of business opportunities and residential housing. Behind the ambitious project is CTP, which is simultaneously developing several other activities in the Ostrava region. 

CTP has leased 15,000 sqm of warehouse space to Polish logistics operator TAS Logistyka at CTPark Warsaw South. The company will launch activities for a client from the electronics and household appliances sector there.The new warehouse space will be used for the storage of household goods, as well as in-plant logistics and co-packing services. 

On the financing side, there is still demand for lending towards logistics. Maarten Otte, Head of Investor Relations at CTP, talked to Property Forum at Expo Real about financing conditions and the developer’s ambitious plans for the future.

CTP has leased approximately 110,000 sqm at the CTPark Warsaw West complex to Raben Group, one of the largest logistics companies in the world. This 10-year lease is the largest transaction in the warehouse and logistics market in Poland this year, for which the Raben Group was advised by Savills, and was also a record-breaking agreement for 2023 across CTP’s entire portfolio.

Industrial developer CTP has leased around 20,000 sqm at CTPark Belgrade City to Mercata VT, the biggest tobacco and FMCG distributor in Serbia. The company will use the warehouse space as its new distribution centre for the next decade. 

Industrial developer CTP has achieved the first BREEAM Outstanding certification for BUW 20-21, with an area of over 100,000 sqm, part of CTPark Bucharest West. 

CTP is hosting its 2023 Capital Markets Day in Brno, Czech Republic, followed by asset tours visiting CTParks in the Czech Republic, Poland, Austria, Slovakia, and Hungary. The company also announced FY-2024 guidance and reaffirmed that it's on track to reach 20 million sqm of GLA before the end of the decade

CTP has secured €200 million in financing from the European Investment Bank (EIB) for the roll-out of its large-scale programme of solar panel installation across its European business park portfolio.

The investment transaction market in Romania reached €181 million in H1 2023, down by 43% compared to the same period of last year over rising financing costs. At the same time, the average price per property decreased from €24 million to €11 million, according to Cushman & Wakefield Echinox.
