WOOD & Company has announced the completion of the acquisition process of the Aupark Bratislava shopping centre. At the same time, it has invested in its expansion with the public opening last week.

Park Lane Developments and Mitiska REIM have purchased a second plot of land in Sofia’s Nadezhda district to develop a new retail park.

Cushman & Wakefield has summarised the situation on the Polish retail market for the third quarter of 2024, which saw a continuation of strong development activity, with new openings dominated by retail parks. The three months leading up to September marked the first quarter in the history of the Polish market in which one retail format accounted for the entire new supply. Retail market sentiment remained robust amid a growing number of brand debuts and strong retail sales, shopping centre footfall and turnover growth.

Mitiska REIM has announced the opening of a new retail park in Pitești, the first of four new retail projects that the investor plans to open in Romania in the next two years. 

Realia Fund Sicav has completed the acquisition of two retail parks, and the fund portfolio's value now exceeds CZK 2.2 billion (€86.8 million). A transaction with a total volume of approximately CZK 180 million (€7.1 million) concerns retail parks in Pilsen and Frýdek-Místek.

The owner of the Máj shopping centre on Národní Street in Prague, Amadeus Real Estate (ARE), closed the children's playground on the building's roof in August due to missing permission and is now also closing the indoor playground named Lvíčkov (Little Lion Land), reports E15.cz.

The construction of Przystanek Karkonosze, which is being developed in Miłków on the outskirts of Karpacz (southern Poland), has started. Redkom Development, which is developing the facility, has announced that the complex will be delivered in Q2/Q3 2025

The Olympia Teplice shopping centre and business zone from CPI Property Group's portfolio is expanding. The enlarged shopping centre is planned to offer almost a hundred stores in an area of 43,000 sqm.

NEPI Rockcastle has completed the expansion works for the Shopping City Ploiești project. 

EPG Group is reopening the hypermarket Albert in the modernised Varyáda shopping centre in Karlovy Vary. The reconstruction of the centre has started at the beginning of this year during the full operation.
