In Q1 2021, home prices in Slovakia increased by only 2% compared to Q1 2020. The prices of new dwellings increased by 2.6% and prices of used dwellings rose by 1.5%, the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic announced.

Romania’s Impact Developer & Contractor will deliver this August the 18 villas part of Boreal Plus complex and is continuing the construction of the first 209 apartments in the Constanța-based project. 

Romania’s Akcent Development Group, specialized in the development of residential and office projects in Bucharest, recorded a turnover of €48 million in 2020.

Romania’s City Garden says it will deliver the first phase of its luxury villas complex this year and will complete the whole project in 2022. The company is investing around €16 million in 66 villas located in northern Bucharest.

In early May, developer Mint Investments began preparatory works on the Metropolis residential project in the centre of Bratislava. Local lender Tatra banka has been selected by the company to provide a loan of €42 million for the construction of the project. The planned completion date of the project is Q4 2023.

Romania's Impact Contractor & Developer says it recorded sales of RON 39.3 million (€7.9 million) in the first quarter of 2021, up 71% year-on-year, due to higher demand in the residential market. 

Impact Developer & Contractor will start the development of its first residential projects in Iași, eastern Romania, in the second half of this year. 

Real estate developer Speedwell has concluded a partnership with Rovere Mobili that covers the residential projects The Ivy and Record Park in Bucharest.  

Real estate company Prima Development Group is investing €20 million in a residential project located in Timpuri Noi area, Bucharest’s emerging business hub. 

Real estate group Duna House estimates the number of residential property deals completed in Hungary to have reached 13,511 in April 2021. Although this is a slight decrease compared to the pre-pandemic peak in the same month of 2019, overall it is still the third strongest April in the last ten years.
