Cushman & Wakefield has analysed the findings of a survey carried out by SW Research on a representative sample of the inhabitants of the largest Polish cities. The amount of rent and the standard of accommodation are key to home renters. 

Budimex SA has signed the final sales agreement of Budimex Nieruchomości. Therefore, the private equity investment firm Cornerstone Partners and Czech development group Crestyl took over the entire shareholding of the company.  This is the biggest acquisition in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe since the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic. The next stage is changing the name of the company - Budimex Nieruchomości is now Spravia.

A total of 14,193 residential properties were sold in Hungary in May, real estate group Duna House said in its monthly Transaction Estimate. This marks the strongest May in the market for the past couple of years as the figure was 5% higher than in May 2019.

Murapol has restructured its existing debt and obtained a new loan from mBank and Bank Pekao in the amount of PLN 350 million. The developer is implementing a plan to rationalize the financing structure and to support the sustainable development of nationwide operations.

In Q1 2021, home prices in Slovakia increased by only 2% compared to Q1 2020. The prices of new dwellings increased by 2.6% and prices of used dwellings rose by 1.5%, the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic announced.
