Asking prices of apartments in Romania fell by 0.3% in June compared to the previous month, with the average listing price of a property reaching €1,745 per sqm. 


Cluj-Napoca remains the most expensive residential market in Romania, although prices fell by 1.4% to €2,431 per sqm. In Bucharest, home prices gained 0.8% to €1,761 per sqm. 

“We expect in the next period to record a rebalancing and see corrections on some segments, overheated, but also consolidations especially on the new premium segment,” according to Daniel Crainic, Marketing Director of Imobiliare.ro. 

On the Brașov market, prices were up 1.7% to €1,641 per sqm, while in Constanța they were down by 0.2% to €1,481 per sqm. 

In Iași, prices of apartments fell by 0.6% to €1,304 per sqm, while in Timișoara they rose by 0.3% to €1,456 per sqm.
