In response to this crisis, multiple stakeholders — international financial institutions, the Government of Ukraine, regional authorities, and private and civil society actors — have mobilised a diverse set of programs aimed at delivering housing solutions. These include large-scale investment initiatives, state compensation mechanisms, municipal developments, and innovative mixed models with private partners. YIT Slovakia secures permit for large resi project in Bratislava

YIT Slovakia has reached a significant regulatory milestone in the development of its Mlynárka project in Bratislava. Following the building placement decision issued by the district in November 2025, the developer obtained legal planning permission on 18 December 2025 for the first phase of the development, comprising blocks B, C, and E. Geosan Development starts two resi projects in Prague

Geosan Development has launched the construction of its largest residential project Re.Start Petynka with 283 apartments and commercial ground floor, while it also kicked off the Benkova Rezidence on Chodov, comprising two boutique "villa-houses" with 40 apartments. The company also completed another phase of building plot development for individual family house construction in Choťánky near Poděbrady and delivered the Rezidence Radimova Břevnov complex in Prague, featuring 101 homes.

New leases

  • The recreational offering at Fort Wola has been further enhanced. Zdrofit fitness club, which has operated at the centre since 2024, has expanded its floor space by an additional 790 sqm to house a modern pilates zone. Following this expansion, the club’s total footprint exceeds 2,280 sqm.
  • Bolton Romania has leased 306 sqm of office space in the Bucharest-based River Plaza. The deal was brokered by Fortim Trusted Advisors.
  • IWG has leased 1,297 sqm for a flexible workspace in the Egros Office project in Iași.

New appointments

  • Věra Hordóssyová has joined GARBE Group as Account and Financial Manager. She brings over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting, having held roles such as Chief Accountant and Financial Controller.
  • Krzysztof Szargawiński has joined Avison Young Poland’s Office Agency team as an Associate Director. In his new role, Krzysztof will be responsible for leading the department’s projects in the Wrocław region. He brings over 20 years of experience in the Polish commercial real estate market, gained primarily in Wrocław, Warsaw, and Katowice.
  • Balázs Kun has joined Avison Young Hungary as Director, Industrial, Land & Development. He brings over 5 years of experience in the Hungarian real estate market, most recently serving at CBRE in the Industrial and Logistics department.
