One Tower, the office building part of One Floreasca City in Bucharest, has received the WELL Health and Safety certification, which highlights the impact of buildings on the health and well-being of occupants.

Hungarian developer Futureal and MKB Bank have signed a loan agreement for nearly €50 million (approx. HUF 17 billion) to finance the third phase of its Budapest ONE office park project. The final phase of the office complex will be completed in the second half of 2022.

CPI Property Group signed framework agreements with advisory company JLL for comprehensive project management services in 13 office buildings in Warsaw. The total GLA that the cooperation encompasses is approximately 320,000 sqm. The JLL Project & Development Services team will be responsible for the implementation.

The construction of the Punkt (Point) office building has begun in Wrzeszcz district of Gdańsk. This is a new and - after Officyna - another investment conducted by Torus in this part of the city. The building will offer nearly 13,000 square metres of leasable area

The BSS sector is driving growth in Polish cities and dominates the regional office landscape. Companies from this sector account for more than half of leased space outside of Warsaw. The first half of 2021 saw companies from the modern business services sector (BSS) lease nearly 210,000 sqm of office space in Poland. This is more than 40% of the total demand registered in the country’s major markets. Excluding Warsaw, BSS companies accounted for as much as 60% of office demand

Property developer Vastint is looking to secure permits to kick off the construction of the second phase of its mixed-use project Timpuri Noi Square (TNS) located in Bucharest. 

In the first half of 2021, tenants leased over 1.1 million sqm of modern office space across the capitals of the 15 CEE countries. The highest level of activity was recorded in Warsaw (249,300 sqm), followed by Prague and Budapest. The Business Services Sector continues to generate a great deal of demand and occupier activity and is one of the largest employment sectors in the region according to the “ExCEEding Borders - Office Markets & Business Services in CEE-15” report just released by Colliers.

Wing, one of the largest real estate companies in Hungary, is launching a new office development. HOP Passage will be a part of Hungária Office Park (HOP), the complex at the former Siemens site on Hungária körút. With 32,000 sqm of Class A+ office space, this new building will meet environmental and accessibility rating criteria and will offer customisable offices looking out onto an inner garden to its tenants, with flexible terms. Preparatory work is to start in late 2021, and the new building is expected to be completed at the end of 2023.
