Europa Capital and ConvergenCE have announced the new brand identity of the recently acquired Akadémia Business Center in the heart of Budapest. Alongside the launch of the refurbishment works, the riverside building will be rechristened Academia, as a vital part of its transformation and repositioning.

New owners have started major refurbishments with modern designs to attract more tenants. The companies will focus on tenants’ requirements, urban connectivity, and ESG.

According to the investors, construction works are already underway within the building, its identity has also been reconstructed. Although the new name stems from the previous one, conscientiously maintaining continuity by building on its established recognition yet it is given a timeless edge with classic Latin-style spelling.

The accompanying new logo, selected after thorough consideration, reflects a modern look with eternal elegance. Its design originates from the address of the building, Akadémia street 6. The logo’s dual nature also represents the two parts of the building, the symbiosis of a 19th century and a modern wing.
