Aareal Bank has arranged and underwritten the refinancing of two logistics and industrial parks in premium locations in the Czech Republic on behalf of CTP. Aareal Bank acted as Mandated Lead Arranger, Sole Lender as well as Facility and Security Agent. The facility comprises a total commitment of approximately € 403.5 million with a loan term of 10 years.

CTPark Ostrava is currently home to 75 companies with 9,000 people employed there and the site continues to attract new firms looking for suitable sites for production space. The offer of such space in the Moravian-Silesian Region has grown by 70% year-on-year. The site owner, CTP, has now concluded agreements with Brembo, Hyundai Steel and Škoda Vagonka on new operations at the park. More than five hundred new jobs will be created in the region as a result.

CBRE Global Investors in collaboration with general supplier Demaco have handed over the new premises in Nýřany to their client Faurecia represented by the industrial agency of Colliers International Czech Republic. Faurecia Seating Plzeň opened its plant in this location in 2013 and earlier this year, and the automotive supplier agreed on an expansion within the existing location. The new premises will be used for manufacturing automotive seating for BMW, Opel, Volkswagen and other brands. The site can also offer space for another expansion.

Panattoni is demolishing the cement plant in Nowa Huta, where City Logistics Kraków I Is to be built with an area of 36,500 sqm. Additionally, a park is to be built in the centre of Konin on the site of a former grain elevator. Brownfield developments now comprise over 10% of all of Panattoni's projects and this proportion is very quickly rising.

The Ostrava City Council has approved the plan to build Panattoni Park Ostrava Airport near Leoš Janáček Ostrava Airport. The project aims to attract both leading domestic and global companies. It promises investments totalling around CZK 4 billion and up to 2,000 new jobs for the whole region. Panattoni, as the developer, will use the large existing industrial zone with high-quality transport infrastructure. The industrial premises with an area of 115,000 sqm will have minimal environmental impact. Construction should begin during 2022.    

P3, the long-term owner and developer of warehouse facilities in Europe, expands its portfolio by two urban plots located within the Warsaw agglomeration, on which P3 Warsaw I and P3 Warsaw II parks will be built. Thus, urban logistics is yet another direction of the developer's intensive activities undertaken in Poland.

CTP welcomes Serbia’s leading electronics retailer, Tehnomanija, to Serbia’s largest industrial park, CTPark Belgrade North. The company has leased a newly built, 20,000 sq, logistics warehouse to support the large-scale expansion of its e-commerce activities.

In the eastern agglomeration of Budapest, next to the M0 ring road, HelloParks continues its expansion with a new development in Maglód. As a member of Futureal Group, the company has started preparations for the implementation of HelloParks Maglód’s first 46,000 sqm facility being built in the first phase, on a 46 ha site located in the vicinity of M4 and M5 highways and Liszt Ferenc International Airport. The industrial and logistics centre will include a range of facilities exceeding a total area of 193,000 sqm hat meet the requirements of the BREEAM sustainability standard. The announcement of the investment in Maglód follows the company’s recent purchase of its first 76 ha site, also situated next to the M0 highway in Fót, where HelloParks Fót logistics megapark is under development.

Panattoni is to build a warehouse and production centre for OneDayMore in Poznań. The producer of muesli, porridge and other similar food products and snacks will occupy more than 8,600 sqm in the new urban logistics park in Poznań, where it intends to start a new production line – vegetable-based meat substitutes.

7R has just started building a last mile urban warehouse in Gdynia, expanding its 7R City Flex network. It will be the first logistics facility in Gdynia to be built in the direct vicinity of the port and close to the city center.
