Panattoni Europe is to build another facility for DSV Solutions. The 25,000-square-metre logistics centre will be erected in Pęcice, as part of Panattoni Park Janki II. The cornerstone ceremony initiating the project took place on 23 March, and completion of the investment is scheduled for August 2017.
P3 has completed the first two warehouses at P3 Prague D11, developed partly on a Build-to-Suit basis for Exiteria and FM Logistic, comprising a total of 60,000 sqm. The warehouses are among the largest buildings planned for the park and account for over a third of its total size. The rest of the site can accommodate eight further warehouses ranging from 3,000 sqm to 26,000 sqm. After completion, P3 Prague D11 will provide a total of 155,000 sqm.
Panattoni Europe announced the completion of an investment for Sanden Manufacturing Poland. The facility features close to 6,5000 sqm of warehouse space and was built in Polkowice, next to the existing manufacturing plant. The lease was signed for 12 years.
Panattoni Europe is developing a fifth logistics centre for Amazon. The new facility featuring 135,000 sqm is being built in Sosnowiec in the region of Upper Silesia. Completion of the project is planned for October 2017.
CTP broke ground on its first Polish development in the city of Opole. Initially a 13,000 sqm facility will be built for a long-term client, International Automotive Components. With additional land available, the park has a planned built-up area of nearly 71,000 sqm.
Prologis announced full-year 2016 activity for its business in Central and Eastern Europe. The company leased 1.8 million sqms in the region. New lease agreements accounted for 700,000 sqm and lease renewals for 900,000 sqm, with the balance short-term agreements. The CEE portfolio occupancy rate was a record 96.4 percent.
Poland’s total industrial and logistics stock surpassed the 11 million sqm mark at year-end 2016. Leasing activity remained strong for another consecutive year, leading to record high take-up, with more than 3 million sqm being transacted. The largest leasing volumes were recorded in Warsaw’s suburbs and Upper Silesia, and – of the smaller markets – in Szczecin and Bydgoszcz-Toruń. Goodman is now constructing a second modern warehouse building totalling 36,700 sqm in Pomeranian Logistics Centre. The company’s flagship development in Poland has already secured five new pre-lease agreements.
Prologis announced fourth quarter and full year 2016 activity in Europe. Prologis Europe ended the fourth quarter with 96.7 percent occupancy, an increase of 90 basis points over the course of 2016. The company signed new leases and renewals totalling 718,200 square metres in the fourth quarter and 3.5 million square metres in the full year 2016 – an increase in volume of 54 percent over 2015.
GLP has signed a new lease agreement with Static Control, a manufacturer and supplier of printer consumables for 7,000 sqm at Wrocław V Logistics Centre in Magnice near Wrocław in Poland. The complex is now fully leased.
Less than four months after deciding to enter Panattoni Park Tricity East I, Chemart International Trader has decided to expand and occupy an additional 3,000 sqm. The company was represented in the negotitions by Axi Immo.
Newgate Investment has signed lease agreements for two Polish premises with a total area of around 1,200 sq m, previously leased by Neonet. A Rossmann shop will open on the space in Zgierz and a Media Expert shop in Grodzisk Mazowiecki.
Szymon Zduńczyk has joined the Management Board of Karimpol Poland as of 1st of March, 2024. The former Executive Director has been promoted to Managing Director and Member of the Management Board of the Group's Polish subsidiary. Mr Zduńczyk is the first Pole in the company's history to sit on its Management Board alongside Andreas Prokes and Harald Jeschek.
