Europe's logistics real estate market is moving through a stabilisation phase. An average rental growth of 70 cents per sqm is projected for the period from Q2 2025 to Q2 2030, implying an annual growth rate of 1.9 percent. For comparison, the growth rate between Q2 2020 and Q2 2025 was 5.6 percent. These findings come from Garbe Research's latest Garbe Pyramid Map, covering prime rents and yields for 121 logistics submarkets in 25 European countries.

Industrial developer VGP has started the construction on VGP Park Bucharest 2, a new industrial and logistics project with a leasable area of around 114,000 sqm.

German retailer Metro has completed a new 12,000 sqm Food Service Delivery (FSD) warehouse in partnership with industrial developer WDP in Ștefăneștii de Jos, near Bucharest.

Industrial developer CTP has signed a long-term lease agreement with Gorenje Magyarország Kft., the household appliance manufacturer and part of the Hisense Group, for a new 15,000 sqm facility at CTPark Budapest West. 

The industrial developer WDP has signed an agreement with Action, the international non-food discount chain, for the development of a new distribution centre.

Harden Construction has begun construction of Panattoni Park Gdańsk West II, a new industrial complex in Jankowo Gdańskie near Gdańsk. The design-and-build project will deliver nearly 40,000 sqm of production, warehouse and office space, with completion scheduled for early 2026.

The Czech investment fund Watt & Build, part of the Axelor group, is entering a new segment in the renewable energy sector. In addition to developing photovoltaic and wind power plants in Spain, the Czech Republic, and other European countries, it is also including the construction of large battery storage facilities in its portfolio.

Industrial developer CTP has appointed Ronald Binkofski as the new Managing Director for Romania, as part of the company’s plan to achieve an annualised rental income of €1 billion across its European portfolio by 2027.
