Grupa Hasco has officially opened a modern distribution and logistics centre near the Stryków junction outside Łódź. The investment, worth nearly €18 million, was realised in cooperation with construction and technology partners including Harden Construction and Astor. The new facility will streamline distribution of Hasco-Lek pharmaceutical products, reducing delivery times and strengthening competitiveness.
Construction of the distribution and logistics centre began in early 2025 and was completed according to the planned schedule. The investor was Pcf Procefar, a Grupa Hasco subsidiary serving as a pharmaceutical wholesaler responsible for product distribution.
"This project organises and strengthens our logistics processes, creating a coherent and scalable operational model for years to come," said Maciej Podraza, Board Member of Hasco-Lek. The facility enables faster, more efficient operations with greater precision, directly translating to improved customer service quality and product availability.
The key element of the facility is an operational zone covering nearly 1,000 sqm, while over 5,500 sqm is occupied by warehouses adapted for storing pharmaceutical products according to Good Distribution Practice standards. The centre introduces advanced solutions automating logistics processes to the Polish market, including the country's first A-Frame device with Puma technology - a measurement module that automatically checks stock levels, controls quantity and replenishment dynamics.
The 8,300 sqm facility was built by general contractor Harden Construction and features a 12-metre-high warehouse hall with a two-storey section and office-administrative facilities. Special attention was paid to solutions ensuring safety and stable storage conditions, including above-standard insulation and organisation of warehouse space compliant with Good Distribution Practice standards.
