Europa Capital has sold the Radisson Collection hotel in Warsaw on behalf of its value add fund, Europa Fund V to Wenaas Hotels Europe A/S, part of Wenaasgruppen. The sale follows the comprehensive refurbishment of the property, which has been upgraded from a Radisson Blu to a five star Radisson Collection branded hotel, the first in Poland. The 311-room hotel will continue to be operated by Radisson Hospitality AB under an International Management Agreement.

Mitiska REIM, in association with its Romanian country partner Square 7 Properties, has accelerated its investment in Romania during 2019 and announced the opening of its latest retail park development in the city of Braila in the east of the country.

GTC has closed the sale of the 16,100 sqm Neptun Office Center in Gdańsk to buyer CBRE Global Investors. The Class A office building is located in Gdańsk Wrzeszcz, at Aleja Grunwaldzka. Completed in 2014, Neptun Office Center offers 16,100 sqm of modern office space and 160 parking spaces.

The most active logistics developer in Hungary plans to expand its portfolio by 100-150 thousand sqm every ear. Rudolf Nemes, Country Manager of CTP Hungary talked to Property Forum about the ongoing changes on the Hungarian logistics market.

CTP recently announced Arcadis, ADP and CEVRE as winners of the tender for certifying CTP’s entire portfolio of buildings. Winners were chosen based on track record, capability, ESG activity and cost. Key to the winning the tender was sufficient resources available to certify all 293 buildings in six countries within the timeframe. CTP plans to have all 293 buildings certified by the end of June 2020. The certification process will require close cooperation and transparency among the various parties and each party has dedicated teams to complete the task by the agreed deadline. In total, CTP expects to invest up to €1.2 million into the certification process.

Patrizia Immobilien AG has sold the Feniks office building in Warsaw to a South Korean investor via Warburg-HIH Invest Real Estate. Savills advised the buyer in the transaction.

Over the years, warehouse locations outside Poland’s five largest regions have attracted limited interest from institutional investors. However, along with the development of the country's road network and increasing difficulties in recruiting employees in major Polish metropolitan areas, new locations are becoming increasingly attractive for tenants and landlords. In fact, according to a report by JLL, Hillwood Poland and ManpowerGroup, these factors may well translate into higher investment volumes in emerging markets in the next few years.

Balance Hall, a 16,000-sqm office building with a "Very Good" BREEAM certification, has been delivered in early December 2019 on Budapest's Váci Corridor. With this new addition, the Balance Office Park office complex has grown to nearly 35,000 sqm. CPI group reported an over 75% occupancy rate upon delivery, based on already signed contracts.

GTC has just obtained a building permit for a new office project in Katowice. Once finished, the Class A building will offer 18,315 sqm of state-of-the-art office space over 5 floors in the heart of Katowice. The building, inspired by Katowice’s modernist architecture, is designed by JEMS Architects.

A second building with 27,000 sqm, of which 9,500 sqm will be taken up by DSV Road, will be erected at the existing Panattoni Park Poznań IV. Following the extension, the park will total 62,000 sqm, and in the future will reach its target size of 87,000 sqm.
