Commercial real estate investment in CEE is on track for another record year, with Prague maintaining its position as the region's safest market, according to Colliers.

Danubius Hotels Zrt. has spent HUF 50 billion (€125 million) from its own funds on refurbishing its hotels over the past five years, with renovations continuing. The British-owned company employs more than 2,000 people in Hungary and operates 16 hotels with 4,046 rooms.

Innovinia has announced its acquisition of a 17,500 sqm industrial hall in eastern Kecskemét, increasing its total assets under management to over 270,000 sqm.

The Reico Long Lease open-ended fund, managed by Reico investment company Erste Asset Management, is expanding its portfolio of properties with a new segment. Alongside office buildings, logistics centres and rental housing, it will now include a school building.

Real estate developer Park Properties has announced the start of construction works for SunLake Snagov Signature Collection, a high-end residential complex located on the shore of Lake Snagov, near Bucharest.

Croatia's construction sector is threatened with damage this summer due to the ongoing US-Israeli-Iran conflict. While the pain has not been intense so far, the situation could worsen significantly by mid-June or even late May, according to an analysis by the Eastern European Construction Forecasting Association (EECFA).

Romania's industrial and logistics market reached over 8 million sqm in Q1 2026, with approximately 115,000 sqm of new space delivered. At the same time, around 500,000 sqm are currently under construction, according to Cushman & Wakefield Echinox's report.

CEE real estate investment rebounded strongly in 2025, with volumes reaching €11.6 billion across six core markets, representing a 31% year-on-year increase according to Colliers. 

Panattoni has begun developing a logistics centre in Warsaw for Toyota Logistics Services Poland. The project will be delivered as a build-to-suit (BTS) within the City Logistics Warsaw Airport IV complex and will comprise nearly 20,000 sqm of warehouse and logistics space, along with office and social facilities.
