The new facility in the HelloParks Fót industrial and logistics centre will serve the needs of the global film industry, investor Virtual Europe Group (VEG) reports.

The €11 million project consists of a virtual studio which will host giant (several hundred sqm) LED walls and a large separate warehouse to provide storage space.

The construction is to start soon and the handover is planned for Q1 2024.

VEG hopes all major players including Netflix, Paramount, Amazon and HBO will bring super productions to the new facility in Fót HelloParks. Budapest became second after London in producing films last year in terms of total spending in the film industry with a registered HUF 250 billion.

  • iO Partners has announced key leadership changes within its Czech Republic operations as part of its ongoing business evolution. Milan Kilik has been appointed as the new Head of Office Leasing, with a particular focus on client advisory and team collaboration. Concurrently, Petr Kareš has transitioned into the role of Occupier Business Development Director. In this new capacity, he will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities and integrating services across Tenant Representation, Project Management, and Industrial Leasing.
  • Romanian office developer Genesis Property has appointed Cătălin Niculiță as Leasing Manager. With nearly 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, he has held leadership roles at real estate companies such as Atenor, collaborating with major office tenants in the banking, telecom, and IT sectors.
