Members of the panel on ESG investments at CEE Property Forum 2022 in Vienna agreed that environmental issues are addressed much better than the social and governance parts of ESG. Panellists emphasised that leading organizations in the CRE industry should give clear guidance for improving 'S' and 'G' performance at all levels.

Prices in Belgrade’s residential market are still showing double-digit increases compared to the previous year. Local real estate consultancy Cordon published a report summarising the key trends driving Belgrade’s residential market in Q2 2022.

The Czech industrial real estate market has grown up to 10.14 million sqm in size and surpassed the 10 million sqm mark. In this period, the largest real estate transaction in the history of the Czech industrial market was also registered with a yet undisclosed distributor leasing almost 234,000 sqm, Colliers reported in their last analyses.

The Polish logistics operator has signed leases for approximately 20,500 sqm of additional space in MLP Pruszków II and MLP Łódź, two logistics parks in the MLP Group’s portfolio. Following the handover of the new facilities, Uniq Logistic will occupy a total area of close to 44,000 sqm. The tenant was advised on both transactions by real estate agency AXI IMMO.

Generali Real Estate has completed the acquisition of MDC2 Park Kraków South, a logistics development project in Poland, located in Skawina, Kraków area, on behalf of the pan-European Generali Real Estate Logistics Fund managed by Generali Real Estate S.p.A Società di gestione del risparmio. The development will be carried out in collaboration with MDC2, a warehouse and logistics space developer operating on the Polish market. The price has not been disclosed.

Since August, UBM Development Czechia has been building and now selling the second phase of its residential project Arcus City in Prague-Reporyje. Within this phase, 63 apartments and several commercial units will be built. The completion of this phase is scheduled for the end of 2024. In total, over 270 apartments, 10 family houses and several commercial units will be built in the project in three phases.

This month, the new printing and logistics facility of midocean was officially opened. The company took up 40,500 sqm at Panattoni Park Ruda Śląska III, from where it will serve customers in almost all of Europe.

Groundworks have started at this new business park in the southern part of the Hungarian capital. The first phase is scheduled to be open in June 2023. 

The recently finished Hall 'I' at Airport City Business Park, located at Liszt Ferenc Airport offers a total leasable area of 6,000 sqm and is fully occupied.
