EastGate Investment Showcase 2026 brings together investors, business leaders, public authorities and regional decision-makers for a focused discussion on the investment opportunities emerging across Northeast Romania and the wider Romania–Moldova–Ukraine corridor.

Located at the intersection of major infrastructure development, expanding connectivity with Moldova and Ukraine, industrial and logistics growth, energy investment and the longer-term opportunities associated with Ukraine’s reconstruction, Northeast Romania is becoming increasingly relevant to companies and investors looking at the region.

But EastGate is not designed to be another conference about regional potential.

It is about turning that potential into investable projects.

On 15 September, 100–150 senior participants will come together in Iași to examine what investors are looking for, what the region can offer and what needs to happen to bring capital and projects together.

Romanian and international investors will discuss the sectors, projects and opportunities they are actively looking for — and the factors that influence their investment decisions.

The conversation will address a simple question:

What would make you invest in this region?

EastGate will bring together representatives from across the six counties of Romania’s North-East Region — Iași, Suceava, Bacău, Botoșani, Neamț and Vaslui — alongside ADR Nord-Est, municipalities, investors, developers, financial institutions and companies.

The programme will include an international keynote, investor perspectives and a dedicated EastGate Investment Roundtable, creating direct dialogue between international capital and the public authorities responsible for developing the region’s investment opportunities.

The event will be Romanian–English bilingual, with simultaneous interpretation, enabling genuine interaction between international investors and local decision-makers.

EastGate does not end on 15 September.

The Showcase will launch the process of developing the EastGate Investment Pipeline 2027 — identifying and preparing concrete investment opportunities from across the region to be presented to relevant investors and partners.

The objective is to move beyond discussing the region's potential and towards presenting real projects, real capital requirements and real opportunities for investment and partnership.
