Wassila Dridi is Country Manager for Romania at the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB), where she leads the origination, appraisal and monitoring of projects that promote social cohesion and sustainable development. With more than 15 years of international experience in development finance, infrastructure investment and financial services, she has worked across Europe, Africa, North America and the Mediterranean region. Prior to joining CEB, she held investment and project management roles at the African Development Bank, the International Organization for Migration, the Aspen Institute and Crédit Agricole CIB. At CEB, Wassila works closely with national and local authorities, financial institutions and private sector stakeholders to structure and finance projects with strong social and economic impact, including social infrastructure, urban development, housing, healthcare, education and financial inclusion initiatives. She brings a development finance perspective to discussions on real estate and urban transformation, with particular expertise in affordable housing, municipal infrastructure, sustainable investment and the role of public finance in supporting long-term growth.
