Resi prices in Slovakia grew dynamically at the end of 2021

Realized prices of flats in Slovakia rose by more than 10 % in Q4 2021. Prices of sales recorded in the cadastre of the real estate continued to grow dynamically at the end of 2021, dwellings were sold more expensive by more than 10 % year-on-year, and prices rose by 3.6 % compared to the summer months, the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic announced.

Panattoni Industrial Park in Košice adds new hall

Panattoni Park Košice Aiport has expanded by a second hall. The first tenants have already taken over the area of around 6,300 sqm. The nearly 20,000 sqm hall was built by developer Panattoni in cooperation with investor Accolade. Erik Ivaničko, Panattoni's director for Slovakia, told the TASR news agency that the investment in the construction of the new hall is about € 17 million.

Lekvi Group wants to invest CZK 1 billion in Czech retail parks

A new development division of the Lekvi Group plans to build fifteen new retail parks in the region within five years. So far, this group of investors from the countries of the former Soviet Union has focused on the sale of apartments but now sees potential in retail parks in the Czech and Slovak Republics. Tatra Asset Management buys retail park in Slovakia

Tatra Asset Management has acquired the Hexagon retail park in Žarnovice, Central Slovakia from Hexagon Retail s.r.o. The new owner of the Hexagon retail park with an area of 3,600 sqm is a real estate fund managed by Tatra Asset Management, which with this acquisition has expanded its portfolio to 11 retail parks operated under the Lipa Park brand.

New leases

  • Two new tenants have joined Galeria Echo in Kielce, owned by EPP. Dealz chain shop has leased a unit of nearly 580 sqm. The retail space of the Carrefour hypermarket is more than 4,500 sqm.
  • A Rossmann chain outlet has opened in the TGG shopping centre in Wrocław. The new chemist's shop took up over 600 sqm next to the grocery shop. In September, the second TGG site, the Astra shopping centre in Wrocław, will in turn see the opening of a Pepco chain shop.
  • InPost has opened a second logistics centre in Łódź. Ultimately, almost 300 people will find work in the 8,500 sqm facility. InPost's logistics centre, located in the vicinity of the A1 Central Logistics Hub motorway, occupies 7.5 thousand sqm of warehouse space and 1 thousand sqm of office space.

New appointments

  • Agnieszka Boroń has joined Equilis Poland to take up the post of Development Director. She has worked in the construction and development industry for over 20 years, specialising in residential project management. Prior to joining Equilis Poland, she was programme director at Nexity. Prior to that, she worked in managerial positions at Dom Development.
  • Agnieszka Baczyńska took up the position of Head of Leasing - Retail in CPIPG. She is responsible for the commercialization of retail facilities from the CPIPG portfolio. Baczyńska also manages the leasing of office space on the buildings owned by CPIPG.
  • Ferenc Gondi has been appointed to a new post as Country Head for CTP Hungary. He's been part of CTP's activity for over 5 years.
