Power Systems giant Rolls-Royce has appointed Cushman & Wakefield to an expanded role supporting its global property requirements following a competitive tender process.
Colliers REMS Hungary has been assigned by Skanska for the role of property manager for Mill Park Offices, from 2018. Mill Park is Skanska’s latest office project in Budapest, consisting of two buildings, Mill Park A and Mill Park B, with a total GLA of 36,000 sqm, divided over 7 floors and 538 parking places. Building B will be delivered in Q2 2018, while building A in Q3 2018.
From its handover in January 2018, Cushman & Wakefield has been assigned with the property management of the 15,647 sqm Váci Greens D office building developed by Atenor.
Savills will manage two buildings in Poznań and three buildings in Warsaw. The two office buildings in Poznan are RB House and Dwór Hamburski. Tenants include IPF Group and T-Mobile Polska. Two other office buildings are Jasna 24 and Wola Plaza in Warsaw. Tenants include i.a. Hochtief Poland. The third Warsaw building is a modern warehouse Airport House with office and social facilities. The total portfolio under management amounts to 25,000 sqm.
CBRE has been given a new mandate for the management of a retail, office and residential building in Wenceslas Square in Prague, where Van Graaf department store is the majority tenant. The change of the building manager occurred as part of its sale. The new owner is a fund managed by BMO Real Estate Partners, part of the Bank of Montreal.
Established in 2011 by Martina Bartek and Michaela Semanova, who will join Savills as directors, SB Property Services has 25 staff managing a portfolio of commercial properties comprising 185,000 sqm with a value of over €400 million. Clients include Commerz Real and Czech fund management company REICO (an investment company of Czech bank Ceska sporitelna). Among the Class A properties managed are Charles Square Center, the Melantrich Building, Rohan Business Center and the Trianon office building.
CBRE won the tender from REICO IS ČS for managing the 13,800 sqm Qubix office building, located in Prague 4, which is certified according to the LEED Platinum methodology.
A scheme from the portfolio of IKEA Centres Polska S.A. will for the first time be managed externally. Centrum Franowo, completed within 15 months and delivered to the market at the end of September this year, comprises 15 000 sqm GLA, out of which 7 500 sqm on level 0 is dedicated to retail and services, while the remaining 7 500 sqm on level +1 will be used for offices.
Cushman & Wakefield have newly become the manager of two Class A office buildings: Keystone in Prague 8 and Smíchov Gate in Prague 5. Both properties are situated in locations popular on the office market where lease volumes have been the highest this year. Prague 5 accounted for 16% of the total volume and Prague 8 for 15%.
Szerémi Office Building in Budapest welcomed an unnamed new tenant which has signed a long-term lease agreement for 1252 sqm of space in the property. The complex of three interconnected buildings provides a total floor space of nearly 10,500 sqm.
Kucera Logistics Group Sp. z o.o Sp. K. has decided to open a new distribution centre at Panattoni Park Pruszków V. The tenant will occupy nearly 3,300 sqm of warehouse and office space in the new location. AXI IMMO represented Kucera Logistics Group in the transaction.
In the Go! Park Handlowy in Jasło, Poland, Dealz will open its shop. The chain's premises will occupy 520 sqm. The retail park is scheduled to open in June 2023.
New appointments
Daniel Cateliu has been appointed as Director in the Industrial & Logistics department of real estate consultancy CBRE Romania. He is currently pursuing an EMBA at the University of Sheffield in the UK. Cateliu is a graduate of the Faculty of Political Sciences within the SNSPA, subsequently following a master's program and earning an Erasmus scholarship at the University of Trieste in Italy.
Oscar Kazanelson - the current Chairman of the Supervisory Board of ROBYG - has been appointed Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Vantage Development. This is related to the decision to build synergies within the TAG Immobilien Group.
Piotr Chemperek has joined the experts of the Office Space Department at Colliers Poland, taking the position of Associate Director. He will be responsible for advising companies in the medical sector.
