Panattoni has acquired a 14.4-hectare site at ul. Miedziana to build City Logistics Katowice. Construction works at the park, anticipated to feature 70,000 sqm at full build-out, will commence before year-end.

A second building with 27,000 sqm, of which 9,500 sqm will be taken up by DSV Road, will be erected at the existing Panattoni Park Poznań IV. Following the extension, the park will total 62,000 sqm, and in the future will reach its target size of 87,000 sqm. 

According to a new report by Panattoni and CBRE, the attitude towards the future in the logistics, production and trade industries changed slightly compared to last year. The Optimism Level Index in Logistics and Supply Chain in Poland for 2019-2020 was determined at an average level of 49 points, which is lower than the result obtained last year (57.4). Logistics companies are again more positive about the future (53.9 points) than production and trade enterprises using logistics services (44 points). Despite this change in mood, as many as 7 out of 10 institutions assess the costs of supply chain operations in Poland as lower than the EU average, and 6 out of 10 believe that Poland is competitive as a place of investment - both statistics have increased since last year.

Panattoni Europe has built a facility for Amazon in Gliwice of record-breaking size and functionality. The project, featuring in excess of 210,000 sqm and four storeys, is the company’s largest building in the country and has been fitted out with advanced Amazon Robotics technology.

DHL Express has leased a modern hall with a total area of 3 700 sqm at Brno’s airport. The construction, which should be completed in Q1 2020, will be carried out by Panattoni Europe.

Accolade will invest almost €30 million in two warehouse buildings in Częstochowa with a combined area of ​​30,400 sqm. The two buildings at Panattoni Park Częstochowa are currently under construction with completion scheduled for February 2020.

Panattoni continues its investments in Lublin. The planned Panattoni Park Lublin III will consist of four Class A warehouse halls totalling 53,110 sqm. Construction works began last October and the first tenants include well-known logistics operators. They have taken up 12,000 sqm in total.

Aberdeen Standard European Logistics Income PLC has exchanged contracts to acquire a newly built fully income-producing logistics warehouse in Warsaw, Poland, for a purchase price of €27.5 million providing a net initial yield of 5.64%. The agreement is with developer Panattoni Development Europe and Marvipol Logistics. Completion of the acquisition is currently scheduled for later in the month.

Panattoni Europe embarks on a new project near the Tricity Airport – Panattoni Park Gdańsk Airport. The distribution centre with close to 107,000 sqm has already got a stamp of approval from BBK S.A. – 68,500 sqm of the facility will be used as a multifunctional warehouse for home&you, a leading brand of interior furnishing articles. Completion of construction works is planned for mid-2020.

Panattoni Europe has completed nearly 17,000 sqm of space for DHL Parcel Polska. It consists of two distribution centres dedicated to e-commerce operations, built in the Warsaw region – at Panattoni Park Pruszków III and in Radzymin. Both facilities have been developed in line with DHL’s GOGREEN policy and have undergone BREEAM environmental certification process, achieving a Good and Very Good rating.
