Panattoni Europe expands in Zielona Góra

Panattoni Europe increases the supply of warehouse space in Lubuskie. The developer has bought land for new investments and announces the expansion of Panattoni Park Zielona Góra up to in excess of 130,000 sqm, planned in six buildings. At present, close to 75,000 sqm are under construction and over 50,000 sqm more will get under way before the end of Q1 2019.

Panattoni Europe opts for smart roofs

Panattoni Europe has engaged in cooperation with Sense Monitoring, the supplier of smart automation and control systems for flat roof surfaces. Their first joint project will be a facility for a leading logistics provider, currently under construction a short distance from Warsaw. The roof surface in excess of 40,000 sqm will be fitted with the Sense S-One system. It will assist facility management in terms of roof structure integrity and help reduce maintenance costs.

Tritax EuroBox buys from Panattoni in Poland

Panattoni Europe announces that Tritax EuroBox, which invests in Continental European logistics real estate assets, has exchanged contracts to acquire a prime, modern national logistics facility at Strykow, Lodz, in Central Poland, let to Castorama Polska Sp. z o.o., one of Europe’s leading DIY retailers and part of Kingfisher plc. The total consideration payable by the company is €55 million (excluding purchaser's costs), reflecting a gross initial yield of 5.8% on the asset acquisition.

Panattoni Europe to build hi-tech industrial zone in Pilsen

Panattoni Europe plans to transform the former Škoda Plzeň complex in the Borské terasy area in Pilsen into a modern technological centre. The extensive 28-hectare brownfield is currently empty, but it has great infrastructure and is well connected to the surrounding industrial plants. Panattoni Europe’s plans are in line with the current development strategy of the city of Pilsen and are currently undergoing an EIA environmental impact assessment. The total amount of investment is estimated at more than €77 million (CZK 2 billion).

Logistics companies in Poland are more confident than ever

A recent report by CBRE and Panattoni Europe confirms a sustained positive outlook for the logistics market in Poland. The Logistics and Supply Chain Confidence Index in Poland stands at 57.4 pts (3.3 pts down from last year). Optimism is higher among logistics companies (64.1 pts) than among manufacturers and traders relying on logistics services (50.4 pts). What is more, as many as 8 out of 10 respondents expect to increase their revenues in the coming 12 months, and 6 out of 10 plan to increase headcount.

Panattoni Europe to build 10,000 sqm BTO factory in Poland

Panattoni Europe announced a new warehouse and manufacturing project which provides for the construction of a hydraulic components factory for Voss Fluid featuring in excess of 10,000 sqm. The investment is situated at the Legnica Special Economic Zone (LSSE) and uses the BTO (build-to-own) formula. The transaction was mediated by JLL. Completion of construction works is anticipated in March 2019.

New leases

  • Cordon Electronics, a specialist in electronics and advanced technologies, has renewed its lease agreement at MLP Pruszków II, in the immediate vicinity of Warsaw. The company will continue to occupy a total of 7,770 sqm of modern space, a footprint that includes 458 sqm dedicated to office operations.
  • mBank, the digital banking company in Poland, has decided to relocate its largest corporate branch in Lower Silesia to the Infinity office building in Wrocław. The company will occupy nearly 1,300 sqm on the fourth floor of the building. The tenant will move into the development owned by Avestus Real Estate and Alchemy Properties in January 2027.
  • GSP Global Solutions Provider has further expanded its cooperation with CTP by leasing an additional nearly 7,000 sqm in CTPark Budapest Vecsés on a long-term basis.

New appointments

  • Krzysztof Wróblewski (MRICS) has been named Head of Portfolio Management CEE at Peakside Capital Advisors, responsible for overseeing investments and managing the real estate portfolio. He succeeds Christopher Smith in this role.
  • Garbe Industrial is reorganising its senior leadership team. CEO Christopher Garbe will now focus on strategic orientation and international activities. Jan Philipp Daun assumes leadership of the Development division alongside his existing Investment and Joint Venture responsibilities. Andrea Agrusow expands her remit to include Portfolio Management while retaining control of Commercial and Real Estate Management. Additionally, Michael Marcinek and Maik Zeranski will now jointly head the restructured Development unit as Management Board Members, succeeding Adrian Zellner.
  • CPI Property Group is strengthening its leasing structure with the appointment of Agnieszka Baczyńska as Head of Leasing. In her new role, she will be responsible for shaping and executing the leasing strategy across the group’s office and retail portfolio in Poland. At the same time, Izabela Potrykus has been appointed Leasing Office Director. Baczyńska brings more than 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate market. Prior to joining CPI Property Group in 2022, she served as International Leasing Director at Neinver Polska.
