Strabag Real Estate has acquired the defunct Galeria Plaza shopping centre in Kraków and the 8 ha plot it stands on from Peakside Capital Advisors for an undisclosed sum.

The commercial part of Horizon Development’s mixed-use property in downtown Budapest, Szervita Square Building was purchased by Union Investment for one of its institutional real estate funds. The parties agreed not to disclose details of the purchase price.

Hungarian asset manager Futureal Investment Partners has made its second acquisition – the Wratislavia Towers mixed-use development in Wrocław city centre. The value of the transaction remains undisclosed.

The Capital Park Group has completed the revitalisation of the Norblin Factory. The complex was granted an occupancy permit at the end of August 2021. The multifunctional project has a total area of over 65 thousand square metres. Its office space has already been fully leased. Visitors to the Norblin Factory can enjoy cultural, entertainment and dining concepts including the original KinoGram cinema, the Bio Bazar organic market, and the capital city’s largest food court Food Town.

Property developer Prime Kapital says it has finished the demolition phase on a former industrial platform in Iași where it will kick off the construction of Silk District, a mixed-use scheme. 

Romanian property developer Forty Management says it will deliver a Bucharest-based mixed-use project in June 2022. 

A consortium of Penta Real Estate, Kaprain Group and Sekyra Group has acquired a land plot of 20,122 sqm from the University of Chemistry and Technology (VŠCHT) in the western part of Vítězné náměstí in Prague 6 for over €39 million (CZK 1 billion), Penta announced in a press release.

Wing and Accor have concluded a long-term agreement for a 12,000+ sqm area of the 42,000 sqm Liberty complex. As a result, the office building pursuing the BREEAM Excellent rating has added to its profile a dual-branded hotel under the Ibis and Tribe brands. The hotel part will be located in the landmark South wing and it is expected to be completed in 2023, which means this will be the first Tribe Hotel in Hungary.
