Colliers International, predicts that where hotels provide office space to enable co-working and interacting, turnover could be increased by up to 20 percent.
Local real estate developer Forte Partners is planning to build 500 apartments on Calea Serban Voda in Bucharest. The residential building will be erected next to the developer’s U Center office project, which is currently underway. The company's second major residential project is valued at €200 million.
Romanian real estate developer One United Properties is selling part of its One Cotroceni Park urban regeneration project, currently under development in Bucharest, for €25 million. The amount raised is to be invested in the further development of the project, profit.ro reports.
Penta Real Estate has successfully completed the sale of Bory Business Park project to the Karimpol Group development company. The land with a total area of 60,000 sqm is located in the new Bory district in Bratislava and was sold together with a building permit. The project allows the construction of retail space with the possibility of combining showrooms, offices and storage. Both parties have agreed that the transaction value will not be disclosed.
Iulius Company is starting the construction works for Palas Campus in Iași, an investment upwards of €120 million. The Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIR) and real estate developer Iulius are proposing a large-scale mixed-use project around the existing Romexpo Exhibition Center in Bucharest. The €2.87 billion investment plan would the see creation of the city’s largest business district with over 30,000 new jobs, museums and a multi-use event hall, a new park and green urban connections, a retail and lifestyle centre and 12,000 parking spaces.
Savills has been appointed property manager of Posejdon, a €78 million (PLN 350 million) office, conference and hotel complex in Szczecin. The building is entering an operational phase, with more office tenants moving in and the first retail stores now open. The opening of two hotels (four- and three-star hotels) is scheduled for the second half of 2020.
