The Hexagon Group, controlled by Romanian entrepreneur Florin Mariș, has purchased a land plot spanning close to 7 hectares in Cluj-Napoca. The buyer plans to develop an urban regeneration project on the former industrial site. The value of the transaction was not made public.


The land purchased by the group is located near the former industrial site where Romanian developer Iulius plans to start the construction of another urban regeneration scheme.

Mariș said he will develop residential, office, shopping and leisure facilities in the new project that will also have access to ample green spaces, according to zf.ro.

The entrepreneur’s existing portfolio includes mixed-use schemes based in Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca.
