SEGRO has leased 10,500 sqm space to Vilmorin Garden in a new facility in SEGRO Logistics Park Poznań, Komorniki, commissioned in 2021.

Vilmorin Garden, owned by the French company Vilmorin Jardin, deals with the packaging and distribution of flower, vegetable and herb seeds, as well as flower bulbs and high-quality grass mixtures supplied by the world's largest producer, the Danish company DLF. Vilmorin Garden has been a long-term customer of SEGRO Logistics Park Poznań, Komorniki and has been operating in a newly built facility for some time, under a pre-let agreement for 10,500 sqm of space.

"We are satisfied with the cooperation with SEGRO, which has been continuously providing high-quality services for years. The support of a dedicated technical team and Property Managers, as well as the attractive location of the park greatly facilitate our daily activities. These were the main factors that prompted us to extend the contract last year," says Władysław Peter, President of the Management Board of Vilmorin Garden.

In 2020, thanks to the acquisition of new land, SEGRO Logistics Park Poznań, Komorniki increased by nearly 7 ha, and in 2021 by another plot of 5.5 ha, which allows for the construction of almost 24,300 sqm of modern warehouse and production space and increases the potential of the park to over 244,000 sqm.

"The long-term contract with Vilmorin Garden confirms our belief that our activities are satisfactory for our clients. A newer warehouse, an excellent location of the park in Komorniki near Poznań and the vicinity of the A2 motorway definitely facilitate business development," comments Waldemar Witczak, Regional Director of SEGRO.

SEGRO Logistics Park Poznań, Komorniki is located in close proximity to Poznań (10 km), at the intersection of the A2 motorway and the national road No. 5 from Poznań to Wrocław. This guarantees a good connection with other regions of Poland and access to qualified employees.
