JTRE has opened its residential project Downtown Yards in Bratislava for pre-sale and 20% of the stock is gone. This may indicate the asset class's return to a healthier status after a two-year slowdown.

JTRE is strengthening its position as an international developer. It has established a German branch and has announced its first project in the central Berlin location.

For 10 years, developer JTRE has been planning a project for Nové Lido on the Danube’s right bank in Bratislava. This new urban district is foreseen to rejuvenate the area between Old Bridge and Apollo Bridge in Petržalka.

The residential market in Slovakia has almost stopped. The top ten Slovak developers have sold a total of fewer than 800 apartments in Slovakia, as 2023 figures are showing in the ranking on Index.sme.sk.

The design of Downtown Yards by J&T Real Estate is going to impact the Bratislava skyline to a great extent, reports YIMBA.sk.  Development is scheduled in two stages.

Following the extension of the Eurovea waterfront, JTRE presented its new project in Bratislava. The project called Downtown Yards will transform a former industrial site into a residential area. Sales and construction will start next year, and the project already has a building permit.

Eurovea Tower, the first skyscraper in Bratislava on the Danube embankment, has received usage approval. Construction of Slovakia’s tallest building was led by J&T Real Estate (JTRE) and completed less than four years after obtaining the building permit. Only apartment interiors and common areas need to be finished before properties are handed over in spring 2024, the developer announced. 

J&T Real Estate has purchased two hectares of building land on Rohanský island in Prague's Karlín district from the Rohan Consortium, in which Sekyra Group has a half share. In the future, J&T Real Estate plans to buy another two hectares and build the Nový Rohan district for CZK 15 billion (€613.5 million). The company did not disclose the specific price of the acquisition but said the value of one square metre exceeded CZK 20,000 (€818), ČTK reported, cited by online daily newstream.cz.

Developer J&T Real Estate (JTRE) will soon start the construction of the Ganz House residential project as part of Bratislava's Eurovea mixed-use district.

Developer J&T Real Estate is currently completing the Eurovea II project in Bratislava and the new multifunctional Ganz House project could soon be underway too, real estate website yimba.sk reports.
