BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland has summarized the first three months in the Polish investment market and pointed out, among other things: reduction in investors' appetite and waiting caused by the war in Ukraine, combat with inflation, rising commodity prices, as well as a hesitant start of the year in the sector of logistics and industrial investments.

ESG can lead to a fundamental transformation of today’s business environment but for that to happen the approach of both landlords and tenants must change, according to the participants of the ESG panel at Prague Property Forum 2022.

Investment group DRFG has acquired land near the main railway station in Olomouc (the eastern province of Moravia in the Czech Republic) in March this year and plans to build flats and commercial premises there. It plans to build a multifunctional residential complex with retail space and offices on this brownfield site with a total market value of CZK 2.6 billion and an area of 43,000 sqm by 2025. The architectural design of the complex is currently being finalised. DRFG Group informed about its new acquisition and construction plans in a press release today.

7R has finalized the sale of a portfolio of several projects to CTP Group. The portfolio includes projects in the development phase, such as in Warsaw and Katowice, as well as others throughout Poland which are in the pre-development phase.

Paris-based asset manager Paref Gestion, on behalf of its SCPI Interpierre Europe Centrale fund, has acquired the Browar Lubicz office complex in Kraków from Balmoral Properties for an undisclosed sum.

Macquarie Asset Management, on behalf of its Macquarie European Logistics Real Estate Fund, has agreed to acquire for an undisclosed sum a logistics and warehousing facility currently under development near Warsaw. The seller is Logistic Property Investment, which is owned by the Żabka Group and managed by the Żabka Property Fund.

Romanian developer Studium Green has purchased a property portfolio from Immobiliare Italo Romena, a subsidiary of former Italian lender Veneto Banca, for an undisclosed sum. 

Skanska has sold the Nowy Rynek D office building in Poznań, Poland, to Eastnine AB, a Swedish real estate company focused on modern and sustainable office and logistics properties. The project is designed and built-in line with environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles. It is the first transaction between the two parties in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).

Catella has agreed to acquire 65% of Warsaw Property Partners (WPP) for a price of approximately SEK 40 million. The company is an independent real estate investment, asset, and development management company, operating exclusively in the Polish market with a broad offering to support investment strategies of clients. WPP has assets under management of nearly SEK 2 billion and 18 employees.
