The group entered the market with the acquisition of Le Masserie shopping centre in southern Sicily and a portfolio of 13 supermarkets, located mainly in Northern Italy. 

Most customers no longer visited shopping centres for traditional shopping purposes only, a non-representative survey conducted by Indotek Group revealed.

Hungarian Indotek Group has purchased Băneasa Business Center, located in the northern business center of Bucharest, with nearly 10,000 sqm of leasable space for an undisclosed sum.

With the closing of one the recent years’ largest transactions in CEE, Indotek Group has further strengthened its position in the regional real estate market and is now present in 12 countries.

Hungarian Indotek Group is in advanced negotiations to purchase the office building One Victoriei Center in Bucharest. 

Indotek Group has modernised three of its malls, Szeged Plaza, Kaposvár Plaza and Szolnok Plaza, for nearly HUF 2 billion. The property group began its shopping mall renovation programme with the aim of creating buildings even more in line with the needs of tenants and shoppers by modernising the external façades and interior spaces. The three updated malls now await visitors with a modern exterior, a new environment, and new stores and services.
