GTC has signed a €60 million refinancing and investment loan with Raiffeisen Bank International AG for the refinancing of Green Heart, its new office project in Serbia. The office park has already reached a prelease level of 42%.
GTC S.A. signed a €46.5 million new loan agreement with BZ WBK for refinancing of Korona Office Complex. The complex offers about 36,800 sqm GLA in Kraków.
GTC’s Polish flagship retail project was officially granted an investment loan facility in the maximum amount of up to €200 million. Under the original agreement, Bank Pekao S.A. granted a construction loan facility of up to €116 million.
GTC Serbia announced that it has managed to secure lease agreements with several new brands for its latest Belgrade development, Ada Mall. The opening of the 34,000 sqm mall is scheduled for autumn 2018.
GTC currently has 6 projects under construction with over 145,000 sqm GLA. The company also has 6 projects in the planning stage with over 143, 000 sqm of office space and 61,000 sqm of retail space, in addition to 2 extensions of existing projects for 5,100 sqm. GTC presented its Q3 2017 financial results.
Galeria Północna, GTC’s latest retail development in the Polish capital has officially opened. The mall has a total leasable area of 64,800 sqm and is LEED Gold pre-certified.
The GTC Group has acquired a modern A-class office building in Belgrade, Serbia for an undisclosed sum. Belgrade Business Center offers 17,900 sqm of GLA and 307 parking places. The acquisition will increase GTC’s Serbian portfolio to 98,400 sqm GLA.
It the first six months of 2017 GTC refinanced and concluded loans for almost €400 million through euro bonds offering, project loans and construction loans.
GTC’s Polish flagship retail project was officially granted a final occupancy permit. Galeria Północna, comprising 64,800 sqm of leasable space, is the first major modern shopping and entertainment centre located in Warsaw’s Białołęka district. The investment was completed within 25 months after obtaining the construction permit.
According to CEO Thomas Kurzmann the first half of 2017 was dedicated to advance planning and permitting on development pipeline projects as well as acquisition of enew office locations in the fastest growing office markets of Budapest, Bucharest and Sofia. GTC published its financial results for H1 2017.
Cushman & Wakefield brokered the lease of a prominent four-storey unit of 5,500 sqm retail area in Prague on Wenceslas Square to HalfPrice, a Polish off-price brand retailer, part of the CCC Group. HalfPrice's flagship store in Prague will be the company's largest store in the world.
The global healthcare company, Falck, has chosen the Skyliner in Warsaw, owned by the Karimpol Group as its new office for their IT department in Poland. It will occupy nearly 1,500 sqm of space.
A new tenant has moved into Kraków's V.Offices office building. Imperial Brands Services has signed a lease for nearly 1,600 sqm of space. The building's owner, AFI Europe, was represented in the transaction by experts from Knight Frank, while the tenant was represented by the CBRE agency.
New appointments
In September, Michal Berski took up the position of head of the warehouse sector at CBRE Poland. He has been with the company for over 10 years. In his new role, he manages strategy and the development of all business lines within the warehouse and industrial sector.
Slawomir Czarnecki is the new president of Grupa Muszkieterów and ITM Poland. He has replaced David de Bosschère. The new CEO is the owner of the Bricomarché shop in Świecie and has many years of experience in trade, as well as in the Group's internal structures.
LCP Properties, a developer in the Polish retail park market, is continuing to strengthen its organisational structure. Andrzej Plit has been appointed as the new Finance Director. Meanwhile, for the LCP-owned EMKA shopping centre in Koszalin, Daria Kokowska became the new Shopping Center Director.
